She thumped her chin on the ledge and scrabbled with her paws, but she couldn't get a leg hold and dropped to the spongy floor. She had lost the object when she hit her chin, and suddenly it fell and bopped her on the head, which pissed her off. She trotted over and grabbed it up again, then leapt onto the first platform again.
She lunged to the next platform and turned in a quick circle, then leapt up onto the next closest platform and the next. She was getting tired by now, she wanted to finish all this up soon. Tired and wet and hungry and in need of some serious pampering!

And because she was wet she slipped on one thin, slightly mossy ledge and dropped to the floor again. She didn't bother to get angry, just jumped up onto the platform and started up again, carefully calculating each jump this time, checking with the object before leaping into space. She was getting close this time, she could see the light and she wanted it. She wanted it!

But that damned mossy ledge! She slid and scrambled before she rolled off it, giving a squeak and dropping onto the floorShe whimpered softly, her mind drifting to the Rescue Kit... but she'd come so far! She didn't need its help, no! Absolutely not! She stelled herself and leapt, then leapt again and climbed upwards, holding that ball firmly in her mouth and jumping from one ledge to the next. She was wary of the mossy one this time and was careful as she landed on it. She shifted some and checked the next ledge, then leapt toward it. Last one before the one to get out...

[Using Rescue Kit to subtract 2 from the last roll, making it a passing 2.]
She grabbed that ledge with just her front paws and held on tight, setting the ball down on the ledge and kicking open the rescue kit with one leg. It was exactly what she needed, as the kit opened a gust of air rushed out and tossed her up onto the ledge firmly, and with that she grabbed her ball and leaped to the last ledge. She landed with ease and found her head bathed in light-- she nearly fell from the shock of light, but climbed up and out of the pit to the cheers of the waiting observers, then with a few quick leaps she tumbled back across the finish line victoriously!
She looked a mess, of course, and dropped the ball at Ganon's feet. "How was that?" she grinned, wagging her tail some.
[Finished the race in 17 rounds using the Rescue Kit.]
