This snack was inspired by a seasoned nori snack I bought a while ago called "Petit nori" This is a VASTLY simplified version, but tastes almost the same. I didn't use exact measures, I just mixed together: Kikkoman soy sauce (MUST be the GOOD japanese kind) A splash of mirin and rice vinegar sesame seeds wasabi (quite a lot, since I love this stuff so much) A few sheets of nori (I ate five in one day ^^;; ) I cut the nori into strips and mixed the other ingredients together in a bowl and dipped the nori into it... It tasted really yum ^_^

This sounds interesting. I'm not a huge fan of wasabi (I like the spicy kick but it gives me the WORST heartburn!) but I will definitely try this once I get mirin.
Oh, and there are better soy sauces than Kikkoman. I personally find that their brand is a little too... SALTY. It's better to get the ones from Asian markets that aren't in English. They usually taste better.

I've always wanted to try nori. I see it all the time whenever i go shopping with my mom. But I'm scared to try it! sad I find recipes for it like the one you you have here, but still. I might try it when I get my nerve up xD.

Interesting. :9 I've only had nori with rice (as an onigiri) or in ozoni for New Year's.
@MeaShayShay You should give it a try! biggrin Another simple nori snack is to get some rice and pick up chunks of rice with the nori and eat it. blaugh
