I dont think it would. But if you think about it, it might make a good replacement when you make apple pie.

Ah, I've yet to try it as oil replacement, but I used it as a butter replacement for cookies heart It worked great!

My mom always uses applesause instead of oil. Works like a charm and is a lot haelthier.
