Atae wagged her tails again when he said he'd introduce her and yawned yet again. "I know I should... I'm just getting tired of... being tired already. I was stuck in bed all last week with allergies, and now this..." DX But she smiled. "It is late though... maybe I'll feel better tomorrow. And I guess Lily's probably wondering where you are by now... say hi for me? I meant to go back tomorrow so we could go... do... something. But I guess I'll have to put a raincheck on it." =| "If you see Kitsyn say g'night for me?" With that she both resolutely and reluctantly put her head down and flopped a tail over her eyes. "I'll come find you guys when I can get up again... promise..." She drifted off almost before she finished her sentence.
In the living room, Kitsyn had the front door partly open with most of her body behind it and just her head poking around, apparently looking at something in the front yard. She didn't seem uneasy or fearful... actually her body language seemed excited... perhaps even ecstatic. o.0 So what was it she was looking at? He'd just have to ask.

He felt sorry for her.. having to be bed ridden like this. Edward knew that he would certainly hate it, especially after she'd just had trouble with allergies. He winced in sympathy, but still managed a smile as Atae grew more drowsy. "I will.. and don't worry about it. Just worry about getting better." And then she'd soon dozed off. The alchemist searching the room for a blanket, finding one... and pulling it over her to keep her warm.
Once that was done, Edward quietly left the room and soon found Kitsyn once more. He blinked at her curious posture while looking out the door at something. He approached, more than curious at what had her so excited. "Hey... Atae says goodnight" he said softly, trying to peer around the other kitsu. "What are you looking at?"

Kitsyn nodded when Ed relayed Atae's message and then blinked back at him. "A Syn." She grinned, then added, "ah... different kind than you know of. Don't attack her, ok? She probably won't even bother getting up."
She pulled the door open to let them out and padded into the front yard. The creature was about the size of a three-horse trailer, with massive dragon-style wings that could easily have hidden a horse. Her head alone was nearly as big as Kitsyn. She lifted her head at the kitsus' approach, obviously sizing them up before snorting and laying her head back down with a yawn of massive jaws full of sharp teeth.Kitsyn practically shivered with glee. "I've heard they stayed in the woods around the Place here but I've never seen one of them before... there's three of them. The other two aren't as big though, or have the wings."
Boldly she padded right up to the huge beast and plopped a paw on the Syn's nose.The creature flicked an eye open, flicked an ear, and lazily shoved the kitsu backward with the back of one massive paw before heaving herself upright to her full hight and wandering back into the trees. For something of that size and bright coloration she disappeared with amazing speed.Kitsyn practically spazzed on the spot. "That. was. so. COOL."

All Edward could do... was just stare. Never had he seen a creature so... huge. Not to mention it was pretty mean looking. The fullmetal teen decided to keep his distance as Kitsyn requested that he not attack. Although... there was no way he'd be attacking something like that unless he absolutely needed to. The closest he'd seen to any such beast was a chimera, and this was... far larger.
Edward watched as Kitsyn boldly went up to the 'Syn' as she called it and then placed her paw on its nose. Leaving the teen to gape at her actions. Touching a beast that could swallow her with one gulp and not have a second thought about it.
Edward still continued to stare in silence as the creature got up... and then left. Leaving him rather speechless as Kitsyn spazzed. "... You're crazy" he stated bluntly.

Kitsyn grinned toothily. "So I've been told. Though if it makes you feel better, I wouldn't have done it if I didn't know they'd been told not to attack us." She waggled her eyebrows. "They're more sentient than normal animals but not as sentient as we are. They understand speech well enough." She peered into the trees. "She's probably laughing at me."
She trotted over and clapped Ed on the shoulder. "Anyway, I guess you oughta get back to where you were going. We'll be a'ight, and I'll make sure Atae doesn't do anything crazy until she's fit to be up and about."

Ah... well that would have been helpful to know before! Oh well. Edward just smirked at Kitsyn and shook his head. However the teen 'oofed' and lurched forward just a little bit as she clapped him on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I guess I should." He did promise Lilianna that he would return, and Atae also told him to tell her 'hi' for her. "I hope she gets better soon" although he knew that it took awhile for broken bones to mend. He trusted that Kitsyn and the others in this household would take good care of her, so he wasn't worried. "See you around" were his departing words as Edward got to his paws and started back off in the direction he'd been going before Kitsyn had found him.
