Character name: Taliman Wesley
Race: Orinian Fox Demon
Age: 4,146 years
Height: 5'0"
Weight: 165 lbs
Appearance: Very short though well-built for his relative age, Taliman stands at five feet even, long since having stopped growing. His one eye is a bright sapphire, rather narrow. His hair is long and red, his long bangs covering the entire left side of his face. His vacant left eye socket is covered by a red leather eye patch, a cruel-looking scar stretching across his left temple. Aside from the two pointed helixes of his ears he has the appearance of a normal boy in his late teens.
Atop his crown rests another pair of ears, large and fox-like with auburn fur, darkening to black at the tips. Tali has a fox tail extending from his tailbone, close to three feet in length and with similar colored fur as his ears. It seems to behave on its own, likely illustrating his disposition. His fingernails are naturally black.
Wesley's clothes depend on his situation, though he favors crimson and purple.
History
Incomplete.
Abilities
Claws and other Demonic Traits - Due to his demon heritage, Taliman has things such as fangs and claws, not to mention his animal-like appendage and extra set of ears. Each fingernail and toenail can extend a full two inches, tapered into a sharp point. Tougher than most metals, they have great piercing ability, as do his sharp teeth. Another demonic trait is Taliman's tendency to growl or snarl like an animal when angry, his human voice fading when he does. Lastly, he has a healing factor that allows wounds to close a short time after they are dealt.
Copy - Lets Tali copy and memorize the actions of an opponent, down to their mannerisms, attack patterns, and abilities. He cannot learn or copy magic- or species-based technqiues.
Death Ball - Highly potent sphere of explosive energy, executed in a variety of methods, strengths, and sizes.
Death Beam - Narrow, piercing beam fired at a high rate of speed. Can also be used to explode upon contact.
Death Wave - Slower variation of Death Beam that arcs and is swung like a whip. Likewise meant to pierce but can have explosive force as well.
Doppelganger - Creates an exact physical copy of Taliman, which can share both his ki and a conscience of it's own. Dissipates in purple flame when in some way cancelled out.
Heightened Senses - Taliman's senses of smell, hearing, touch, and taste are far beyond that of a mere human. His eyesight, while very good, still operates under half the capacity as it could had he both of his eyes. Thus, his other senses, naturally, are greater than his sight.
Kamehameha - Classic beam attack, charged at the waist and fired forward with a clam-shaped hand figuration. Can be guided afterward.
Ki Control - A long since mastered ability that gives Taliman full control of his bodily energy, otherwise called ki. Using this, he can execute ki attacks and techniques from many different points of his body or aura in many different fashions, though all general maneuvers. He may also alter his state of mind or body, using ki control for meditation, flight or levitation, sense amplification, or simple enhancement of physical abilities. This gives him much of his speed, strength, and other abilities useful in battle; it also allows him to hide, suppress, or give away his own energy, along with the power to search for others'.
Ki Blades - Tali forms a physical blade out of pure energy, glowing as would a ki ball. He can also fire this as a projectile, or extend it directly from his arm instead of using it as a sword.
Natural Power Up - During battle or after injury, Tali may experience a small increase in ki strength to power him up slightly. This occurs naturally, slowly, over time.
Omega Flash - Wesley's ultimate maneuver. He charges his ki near his chest before forming a clam shape with his palms and firing. The attack is in the shape if a narrow beam that can be manually guided. It is meant as a piercing attack, strong enough to destroy a planet upon accidental detonation.
Prison Ball - Glowing sphere than encases and numbs an opponent, rendering them trapped. The Ball detonates upon contact with anything but Tali.
Rage-induced Strength - Wesley is known to have latent strength within him. Under the right circumstances, it can be released, temporarily, for his use.
Reflexive Impulses - While normal reflexes act immediately after harm has come to the body, Master Wesley's respond to potential harm. Likewise, as do normal reflexes, Wesley's act as an emergency response that moves his body out of harms way when possible. His power of precognition can occasionally allow him to move before an opponent even realizes they're about to attack.
Shunkido - Instantaneous teleportation to any person Wesley can detect in one way or another, or any place he can reach within reasonable distance under normal circumstances.
Superhuman Strength and Speed - Though capable of moving faster than the mortal eye can see, Taliman is by no means the fastest of the Orion warriors, more than likely faster only than his father. His raw power leaves little to be desired, however, allowing him to overpower many opponents without too much trouble.
Supernova - Powerful attack that fires thousands or piercing or explosive beams from Tali's body, expanding in all directions before closing in on an opponent.
Survival without Oxygen and in Outer Space - Taliman can survive for some time without breathing, and can even do so in the depths of space.
Teleportation - Taliman glows briefly before vanishing, his energy signature traveling quickly to another location before he reappears.
Psionic Abilities
Old and very experienced, Wesley has a powerful arsenal of mental abilities on his side. He also has special ki techniques he can utilize that are similar to psi attacks. No one technique is auto-aiming; Tali can miss if he loses track of an opponent.
Aura Freeze - Uses Taliman's aura to numb his opponent's nerves, rendering them physically defenseless to attack.
Empathy - Subtle power that allows Taliman to mimic and inflict emotional energies, manipulating the behavior of susceptible opponents.
Firebomb - Flame-engulfed pressure-sensitive ki bomb. Can detonate at will, controlled by telekinesis.
Geokinesis - This allows Taliman to control and manipulate all forms of earth-born matter. This includes rock, stone, dirt, sand and natural metals, among other things.
Ki Telekinesis - Similar to the mental ability, Wes can move objects with his own aura, as well as manipulate weaker beings with their own.
Precognition - Another old ability, this one is hereditary of fox demons, a trait recieved from his mother. Awakened by Shinorei, this ability grants him brief glimpses into the near future. He can look further through time via meditation.
Psychogenesis - An older ability of Wesley's, this is his power to create and rearrange matter at will. This can be anything from attire to weaponry.
Pyrokinesis - The ability to create, manipulate, and take complete control of flame. Of the oldest and most powerful psionic abilities Tali possesses.
Telekinesis - The ability to move objects and beings with only the mind. Physical or mental strength can both be effective counters.
Teleoptics - This ability allows him to move, see, feel, and manipulate things that are out of sight. Wesley expands his range so as to create a telekinetic mental picture of an area.
Telepathic Shield - This is an ability of Taliman's to protect his own mind from psionic attack. The stronger a blocked technique, the greater the strain on his mind.
Telepathy - This technique lets Wesley project and hear mental impulses and thoughts. It also gives him the ability to read minds and memories.
Thermokinesis - Tali's ability to control temperature by raising or lowering it at will.
Shinorei's Abilities
In addition to being able to independantly use many of Taliman's techniques, Shinorei alone widens his arsenal in combat.
Absorption - Shinorei is able to absorb any soul it comes into contact with. This ability also allows the sword to freely and nigh instantly absorb any spirit-related energy or entity it touches.
Battle Aid - Once Shinorei is drawn, all of Wesley's abilities are temporarily enhanced. His healing, in fact, quickens as well, allowing him to sustain more damage than usual.
Dead Raise - Briefly possessing practically any formerly-living body, the power inside the sword can raise and control the dead according to Taliman's will.
Death Tide - A massive, glowing black tidal wave of corruptive, searing energy, swung from the sword to burn through enemies.
Magical Ability - Unlike his normal use of the move, wielding Shinorei allows Tali to Copy magical powers that he or the blade has witnessed. The sword also seems to be capable of nullifying, casting and dispelling some types of magic on it's own.
Shinorei Blade
A reflectionless black sword made of an unknown, endurant material. It is about one meter in length, and 1.5 feet in width, though it tapers toward the tip. Shinorei's size can change, however, depending on how much energy it has at it's disposal. It's powered by ki, though Taliman's ki is not the power being used. The energy is of such evil origin that corruption of whatever it encounters is very a likely possibility. Tali can call further power from the blade, which can grow up to 10 feet in length and 2.9 feet in width accordingly. The stronger Shinorei is, the more capable with it Taliman becomes.
Taliman has bonded so well with the sword that it has a mental link to him, and can be commanded from a distance. It reacts to the evil in one's soul, giving more vile creatures limitless power and easy maneuverability of the blade, while kind-hearted people can hardly lift it. Shinorei tries to deter unwanted masters by one of three methods. The most common is inplanting visions of the dead into their mind, bombarding them with the pain of the countless souls the blade has devoured. Less commonly used but always when threatened, the sword will actually attack someone. Lastly, the ancient sword of death can also attempt Absorption.
The Shinorei itself is not just a sword, but a living thing that feeds off of the death and destruction wrought by it's wielder. If held for too long, it can corrupt one's mind, and bring evil to their heart. Wesley obtained this legendary weapon of evil on planet Earth, stealing it from his brother. Ever since, he and his blade have been inseparable. When Wesley draws the Shinorei, he puts your very soul on the line.
