A couple of years ago I was doing a lyrical dance at a competition at a high school. We had some dresses on and they were halter tops thta hooked in the back (kinda like those bathing suits, that giant plastic hook that goes into a loop of cloth.
Well anyways, right in the middle of the dance, the hook UNDID itself, and I danced the rest of the time, wihout a top on...
Luckily, I had a tan body suit on, however I didn't quite understand the use of them until then... so it wasn't tightened all the way, that started slipping too.
Luckily nothing else came off and I got off on the verge of tears. D:
Always used saftey pins with that thing after that

During rehearsal for the Arabian dance the Nutcracker I was wearing a pair of harem pants that were used by the last few Arabian dancers. Now I am shorter by all of them by at least six inches so there is a lot of extra fabric hanging down around my ankles. During this rehearsal I managed to somehow get my right foot inside of the slit on the left pant leg while standing up from the ground. Not only do I get my foot stuck without noticing, but while trying to stand up I manage to pull my pants down while standing on them and then fell back onto my butt. All of my friends who were either sitting in the audience watching or waiting to come on started laughing. I ended up just taking the pants off and finishing the last 16-24 counts in just my leotard and tights.

we were doing lifts in my recital, my partner dropped me!!! i was so embarrased becuse all the guys from my school were front row center and we were right in front of them, it ended up well because my crush called me 5 times to make sure i was okay, idk why because i got up and kept dancing, lol
