Use your hands... the popping and cracking* is so much more... close... when you do it with your bare hands...

*popping and cracking of bones

A gun leaves less fingerprints.

Oh, and it's horrible to break people's bones personally. Believe me, feeling someone's fingers pop in your hand as you disarm them is not something you ever want to do twice.

Ok then... how about using your feet? Potentially in boots?

When we dissected cats at a science...thing I did a few summers ago at a college, we had to cut through the sternum with scissors, then break the ribs to make them stay back to allow access to the heart and lungs. That was a rather peculiar...feeling. It was also very reminiscent of when I had to sit there and listen to my grandfather's ribs cracking as the EMTs tried to resuscitate him. Also peculiar.

Yes, well, it feels quite different doing it to something living. Something that screams, resists and will continue to have the injury long after you've finished fighting them.

As for feet, they aren't that good for killing people. As a martial artist of ten years and also an instructor, I can tell you that if you want to kill someone, you don't kick them. You've either got to destroy their head, breathing, neck, or back, and the latter three are easiest done by grappling movements. As for the head, well, grappling, or striking with the fists. You'd only want to use the legs if your opponent is already on the floor and you can stomp on their head.

But enough of this violent talk. Until the party has been prepared. ninja

I'm telling you guys, 2x4s! They're cheap, easy to get rid of (by burning shredding, etc) and make one hell of a satisfying THWACK when you hit someone in the face!

....not that I would anyway.

Eh, I've had personal experience with 2x4 combat. They don't work as well as you might think. At least not against a power drill...It's kind of like a rapier versus a lead club. it may inflict more damage, but it's a hell of a lot slower to fling around.

True, I am biased since I'm not a rapier kind of gal. When it comes to boffing, give me a frickin' big weapon. None of that graceful stuff for me! i prefer brute, hard combat. Probably because I am a brute, hard person. xd

Yeah, I mean, I'm no dainty little girl, either. But I can see the benefits of speed in fighting. It's like in Soul Calibur. You've got Nightmare, who has a huge heavy blade, and causes a lot of damage, which is good. But while you're bringing the think down, Taki's already stabbed you twice with her tiny little blades.

But, I guess if you're just hitting someone over the head while they're unarmed, it wouldn't really matter. Damn, I'm ADD.

But speed won't help much if your going against a tank. Its like in WoW when you have a rogue and warrior go at each other in melee combat. Sure the rogue will hit more often, but the warrior has enough hitpoints for everyone and their dog. Then when that warrior uses his Greatsword of the Bear, there goes half of the rogue's hitpoints.

That's kinda how I fight, I may be slow but it takes a lot to bring me down.
