ive got a suggestion for those painters out there-i paint with watercolor and my art teacher suggested drawing the main focus of the drawing with color pencils and the background watercolor

Wow, I've never tried that. If you do one, post it. I can't do one now, but I'll definitely try it after I move and I can unpack my art supplies.

That's a very neat suggestion. I'm sure you've heard of the rule about not mixing oil and watercolor paints together but I have a friend who paints canvases that are about 36"x48" and she mixes those paints together and her pieces are fabulous! Nobody knows, not even her professors can tell she mixed watercolors into her oil paints.
But she only does that when she feels too lazy to buy more color pigments, hehe.
