The government has no right to tell people what they can and cannot consume. It's up to parents to supervise children and make sure they don't get their hands on these things (if the parents think that that is important anyway). If the government really wants to enforce morality then it should abolish taxation since it is technically stealing from the people.

You know what's hilarious? The monarchy we escaped from was taxing and what do we do? Turn around and tax ourselves. It's interesting, but apparently the only way a government can make money. Ha, how about now government? Ah, but then would there be chaos?
Oh, and I agree. The government has no control over one's behavior...it's yourself if you're and adult and if you're minor it's a bit of your own maturity with your parent's authority...
