I don't get how Lionel is coming back when is techinically died. I mean he is part of the cast list next year isn't he?

Well thats weird I didn't see him on the cast list next year is the actor playing a different character?
Or maybe Jor-El has completely taken over him or something I know I was sure surprized when they killed Lionel off, I was surprized and deeply upset I grew very fond of him in the fifth and sixth season. crying

I don't think he's coming back. John Glover was signed up until the 8th season but that doesn't mean that they'll use him (he was also contracted for more episodes in season 7 I think).

It would be nice to see Lionel back in action but, I don't think they are going to do that unfortunatly I was heartbroken when Lex killed Lionel.
As much as I love Lex and everything I was just as upset when Lionel died as I was with Jonathan's death.

If he is it's probably only for flashback scenes that they haven't written yet but will need for plot device later.
