 He stared at her. He blinked, his tail flicked about. His ears went down a bit before perking up. "I see." Karupin continued to stare at her, he guessed he was alright with her saying that she wouldn't care if he could get hurt. It was like her but then he guessed he was hoping that her response would be different. Not friends at all. That saddened him.
He shook his head. "No I wouldn't hurt you. You're a friend." He began to climb down the tree. Down and down he went till he reached the bottom. He stretched his arms over his head, his paws raised towards the blue sky. Karupin yawned before heading over to his toys hiding place. He laid down on the ground again. "How come you're still here, anyway Moon? I would of thought you'd of left by now" He poked at the gumdrop that was beside the tree. He yawned again, his head resting against his other front arm.

"Why am I still here?" She repeated and thought on herself why DID she stay at this place. WITH A MALE!? Non the less. " I suppose... It just seems like a good place to be..." She looked and watched as he climbed down. Wondering if he would slip or need her help. Whne he was planted on the floor- she calmly put her head back on top of her arms.
"A friend? -"
She stopped and then her eyes grew largely. "FRIEND!?" She hopped up and looked down in surprise. It was rare that she would come out to express herself this way. Her tail flickering around before hoping to a lower branch- leaning her body forward- but downwards- her talons stuck in to the branch- holding her.

He turned his head up to look at Moon when she said that it was a nice place to be. That contented him, perhaps she did think of him as a friend afterall. Feeling slightly better he leaned back against the tree, fiddling with the gumdrop. He was beginning to feel bored and when he was bored his eyes began to droop until he was fast asleep. Not that sleeping was bad or anything, he did want to spend more time with Moon though. His eyes dropped shut.
Karupin jumped when he heard the loud 'friend'. Startled awake he moved forwards, away from the tree, and then on his hindlegs he went. He looked at Moon again, face furrowing in confusion. Was something wrong? True she didn't seem to think of him as a friend but was it such a problem that he thought of her as one? She seemed angry, as she hopped lower to another branch. "Yes, friend." He insisted, irritated a little at the rude awakening but also now at her strange behavior. Was having a friend really so awful?
