Yamato Nadeshiko is a Japanese term roughly translating as "the ideal Japanese woman", representing a combination of femininity, devotion, spirit, determination, and deference and a sense of place in society. Representations of this in the media include the heroine of Ai Yori Aoshi, Aoi Sakuraba.
What do you all think of the concept of Yamato Nadeshiko?

It's sad that people try to make others perfect and make up their own expectations for woman's lives. What does 'nadeshiko' mean literally? since..yeah it's in my name . ^^ but otherwise i think that the description is talking about a very confident person, and confidence is always a good thing to have.

It depends on the Kanji used(Imma make it a pic, for the of sake those whose comps can't read kanji. Like mine. gonk )
