Who knows? I am myopic (can't see any further than the length of my arm without my glasses) and I could see how with visual distortion mundane things complemented by bad vision and an overactive imagination could become paranormal. When everything is a fuzzy colored blob to begin with, one only needs little adrenaline and brain juice to make it a spirit.
I do believe in spirits, but I could see how the above point could be argued.

Myopic, huh I dodn't know that was the word for it.
I personally am myopic almost as much as Morinehtar Istarion, not nearly as bad, everything get blurry abouttwo feet past my arm lenght out.
Personally, I think that not having perfect sight enables that type of sight. Well not exactly but I think that having perfect sight allows one person to fully rely on their sence of sight and not on other sences beyond the standard five.
does this sound crazy to anyone else?

oh i wish biggrin i just got my new glasses today and am literally walking around in a fish bowl. * i have lost a lot of vision, apparently i have scar tissue on my eye from it getting really sunburned?* depressing as my new glasses are to me, i don't feel they hinder on my ability to see the unknown. i have had glasses for about 10 years now, but i have never "seen" ghosts, i have always felt them. it can be different for everyone, but you know never know. my specs are cool though i have to admit. some of you are totally not alone when you say your going blind! they told me i had to wear sunglasses anytime outside since it was cause more scar tissue to appear, they have no clue what is doing it. so far it is on one eye so who knows what it is. oh well, at least there pretty.
