"Hey thanks," Blue replied to Kj, "I'm not all too good with the non-stealth weaponry, it's all close range things for me," sweatdrop

Dalvar walked in and looked around. There was only guys here. Not that she was surprised by this or anything. After all, most of the girls had more constructive ways to spend their time than blasting holes in things. And usually so did Dalvar.
The reason she was here and not programing nanites back at Section 13 was in her hand. It was a gun. The thing was tiny, delicate, and streamlined, only six inches long. An artists gun. The ammunition, reloads currently residing in her pocket, was also tiny. Insey-wensy little metal darts.
It was one of her Section 13 creations. And she was here to test it.

Blue glanced over to Dalvar sensing arrogance in the air. Carefully sensing what she was doing, Blue understood that what she was holding was special to the girl, an artists gun? Blue was confused at what her mind had been thinking.
How can a weapon, used to kill as a last resort be artistic?
Blue shrugged this off and turned back to the weapon in his own hand. It had a different balance of weight than it had previously and the bullets seemed to glide from the barrel rather than to pounce.
I think I've achieved enough here today. He thought to himself as he walked off thanking the Agent and wishing them farewell.

Well this is wierd. Delvar in here. Why? Then he notices the gun in her hand and decides to stay clear not sure if she has ever fired a gun before, remembering what had happened with Blue earlier. "So you do you like the modifications? I also have been working on a special gun powder that gives minimal amount of recoil but still has the power of standard gunpowder. If you want to try it out you can?" *talking to Blue.*

Dalvar nodded and smiled at Blue as she passed him on his way out. Another smile and a few polite words were given to the other agents also as she walked up to the firing range.
Once she got to her booth, or what-ever-the-hell it was called, she unlocked the safety on the gun. What? Did they expect her to be walking around with the safety off on this gun? Not likely.
She raised the gun, the red dot of the lazier-sight trembling ever-so-slightly against the target board. She took a deep, steading breath, centered the dot, and fired. The recoil was a bit more than she had wanted when she had designed the thing. A lot more actually. But that was to be expected with a freshly designed gun. It was one of the reasons she was testing it herself.
The little metal dart that had seemed so harmless inside the gun ripped out at 10,000 mph. Which, for those who need a reference, is about five times the speed of a SR-17 spy plane.
It pulverized the target. Blasting a large hole, approximately six inches in diameter, in the exact center of the thing.
She reviewed her handiwork then put the safety back on her gun. Once she had done that she turned and grinned, almost cheekily, at the boys. A job well done...

To live is to die."Holy $*!t. Don't you think that that thing is a little powerful for a dart gun Delvar?" *By the way a dart fired at that speed would make a nice clean hole through it, and the hole also wouldn't be much bigger than the dart either.* Cliff Burton r.i.p.

To live is to die. ((Thats OK that it is a lame OOC only post evenif it did have explosives in it, it would not create a clean whole and it would be useless since it would have already gone through the target before it exploded.)) Cliff Burton, R.I.P.

(( Part of it explodes on impact. But at the speed it's going... rolleyes And she has other 'non-explosive' darts.
But, if it bothers you that much, I guess I can change it.
Edit: Hmm... Actually, using what Sky calls 'Blended metal' works better. ))

(( Right. Back to ICness. ))
Dalvar patted the gun fondly and smiled at Kj's apparent alarm. "Naw," she laughed, "I think it's just right." The elegantly curved and polished hunk of metal in her hand was the culmination of two weeks of solid work. So you can damn well bet she was proud of it. She twirled the gun around in her and so that the handle-trigger side was facing Kj and held it out to him.
"Would you like to try?" she asked, grinning.

((Sorry about the delay i didn't realize you posted in here since i had last checked in here)) "Eh, sure why not." He holds out his hand first making sure the safety is on and then taking the gun. Goes over to a shooting station and gets ready to fire. Then remembers to ask, "Does it pull to one side or the other?"

(( That's alright. ))
"Psh." Dalvar said dismissively, tilting her chin up in a haughty fashion. "Like I would make a weapon that pulled. Neither, just use the lazier dot to aim and pull the trigger. Easy as that." She thought for a moment before adding, "And watch out for the recoil, that little gun packs quite a kick." And indeed it did, at the speed that the darts came out of it there was no other way.
Well, unless someone had found a way to get around Newton's third law.
