The female numa didn't bother going though the house when she got home, instead she flew over it to get to the pond where she was sure her brother would be. Sure enough, he was lazing by the pond with his tail dipped in the water.
"Zachary look!" she said as she landed next to him. She held out two feathers to him, one as pink as she was and the other a dark blue.

Zachary peered at the two feathers before replying, "You do know you're only allowed to keep one?"

She shook her head at him with a slight eyeroll. "I know that. Avira and I have decided to give the pink one to a human. And I know just the one, I'm meeting with her later."

He had flopped back next to the pond while she was talking. "So we're going to have a pup in the house? Will be interesting to see you with one. Just so you know, I'm not pup-sitting for you two either."

Ngaire rolled her eyes at him before turning sharply on her toes and heading into the house.

Lucia: *dances around leaving rainbow footprints that vanish after a few seconds*
Lucius: O__o i want to try that *dances around but leaves dark footprints everywhere*
Lucia: *laughs and holds her parsole high so she doesn't get too wet from his raincloud*
Lucius: *scowls* why do you have a parasole with you? Rain is lovely *splashes in the forming puddles*
Lucia: *giggles and winks at him* 'Cause I do.. I dont think the other numa's I live with would like it if I came home soaking wet just because I was dancing with you
Lucius: But what about that song.....Dancing in the Rain? The person who sung that must've liked dancing in the rain right? *splashes you* Well I can get wet because Sugar Plum is a cub like me, so she won't mind if I get all soggy ^^
Lucia: *Jumps back from the spash with another giggle and twirls her parasole* I guess they did. And you know I dont mind it either... But the numas I live with do. *spins in circles*
Lucius: *Folds arms* I'm sure they won't mind that much, you can always blame it on me if you get into trouble. *Tries to snatch the parasole away* You're always so bright and cheerful Lucia, how do you do it?
Lucia: *twirls parasole above him* How do you stay so grumpy? It's not a question a cub can answer is it? I am how I am and I'm happy with that *she winks again*
Lucius: I stay grumpy because....because that's just how I am *rolls eyes at her winks* It might have something to do with always being under a rain cloud but i prefer to be different
Lucia: *sticks tongue out at him playfully* That rain cloud follows you because you're so grumpy XD
Lucius: It does not *narrows eyes* I can be happy when I want to be. I'm happier when I'm around you but i was made this way and I'm not going to ever ever ever change.
Lucia: Why would you change? You have no reason too. I'm never going to change, but then, I'm perfect how I am
Lucius: Pssh, nobody is perfect, especially not you Lucia *pounces on* But I like you how you are because you're my twin ^^
Lucia: *Falls over and drops parasol* And I like you too brother. It would be strange not having you around
Lucius* *Picks up parasole in mouth and hands it back to her* It would be strange without you too, because you're part of me. Plus you're the only cub I know who will play with me
Lucia: *takes back parasole with a small curtsey and a smile* We'll always play together. And there will be other cubs that will play with you.
Lucius: How can you be sure? I mean wouldn't my rain cloud and moody personality scare away the other cubs? It can be quite daunting *gives a little bow to her curtsey*
Lucia: You never know with some numa.. Heck, the female I live with is in love with a ghost. Compared to that, your moody-blues are nothing.
Lucius: *Laughs* Sugar Plum mentioned her Father was a ghost.....Avira right? Well then, later I'm going to find me some cubs who want to play ^^
Lucia: *nods quickly* That's the one. The other cub I live with his Sugar Plum's brother. There should be lots of cubs that want to play. Just be careful not to get them too wet... *grins*
Lucius: They'll all have to shelter under a parasole likes yours then if they don't want to get too wet Sugar Plum has a brother? I never knew that, I guess you really do learn something new everyday
Lucia: *giggles again* I guess they would be siblings... after all, he is always with Ngaire. Maybe I should start up a parasole store for all the numas you're going to play with
Lucius: *grins* Now that would be an idea. Well one day I'm going to have to meet her family and get to know them ^^
Lucia: You will have to meet them.*starts dancing and twirling her parasole again*
Lucius: When did you learn to dance like that? I had no idea you could dance at all *copies her steps*
Lucia: I've always danced, it's fun. *places her umbrella in her mouth and grabs her brothers paws to lead him with dancing*
Lucius: You will definately have to teach me how to dance. I'm afraid I'm a little clumsy when I dance *grips tightly onto his sisters paws so he wont fall over*
Lucia: *giggles and slows her steps so he can keep up* ~Sing-song voice~ one two three, one two three, dance with me, dance with me, where will we go? What will we see? One two three, One two three, dance with me, dance with me
Lucius: *doesn't get the song* I am dancing with you Lucia, has your brain popped or something? Why are you counting, i can count past 3 you know?
Lucia: *giggles with a shrug* I have no idea, it just came to my head *keeps dancing and humming the tune*
Lucius: *whimpers* It's stuck in my head now....HEY it's helping me dance. I'm dancing in time with the song and I'm not falling over *spins her around*
Lucia: *spins with a flourish* It does make it easier huh? I'd hate to think of life without dancing in it
Lucius: I'd hate to think of a life without music in it, music makes everything more exciting. *speeds up steps a little* It seems when you listen to music or a steady beat, your body instinctively moves to that beat.
Lucia: *giggles and keeps up with her brother* I don't need music to dance too, but it does help. *spins in circles around his steps before facing him again*
Lucius: I definately need music to dance to, without it I'm useless. With your great dancing skills and my ability to keep in time with beats we would make a great dancing couple. *winks and lifts her up*
Lucia: *spreads her arms and "flies"* Whee!! We sure could. I dont think there are any dancing competitions though...
Lucius: *brings her back down* Well we should make our own then, just for cubs. Plus it's a great form of excercise to keep us in shape if we eat too much candy...
Lucia: *lands gracefully* There's no such thing as too much candy.. Maybe we will, We'll have to meet more cubs for that though...
Lucius: *spins her around once more* Good point, but it's still good excercise. Yesh we'll have to meet cubs, but they'll all come flocking to us when they see our great dancing.
Lucia: *spins out, ending in a certsy* I hope so, it wouldn't be much fun having a competition without others there
Lucius: *finishes with a bow and wide smile* Of course it wouldn't be fun without others there, then there would be no competition. There's been a singing competition before, now they can have a dancing one. *looks up at rain cloud* It's not raining anymore
Lucia: It's because you're happy. Why would it rain if you are happy? *folds her parasole down with a grin*
Lucius: And it's all because of you Lucia, you're like a tranquiliser, you calm me down. *scampers over to a bag and comes back with two lollipops*
Lucia: I'm not a tranquiliser... those things are needles *giggles* Ohh.. Lollipops.. good idea
Lucius: You know what I mean *hands a lollipop to her* These are my secret supply of candy, I only use them in an emergency and right now is an emergency. I need SUGAR! *licks the lolly*
Lucia: *giggles and takes the offered lollipop* Thank you. *starts licking it* Sugar is good and these are so tasty!
Lucius: Thankyou they're my own recipe. I make them on weekends when Sugar Plum is out climbing trees and I have nothing to do. *slowly nibbles on his*
Lucia: They're really good *keeps licking, slowly getting her face and paws sticky with it*
Lucius: *Grins at her sticky face* You're such a messy eater sister,but I have just the thing to get rid of it. *dips paw in a puddle and gently wipes the water on her face*
Lucia: *giggles and blushes* At least the colors suit my fur.. *rubs her face over his watered paw to get it all off* I guess your raincloud does have its uses
Lucius: They do suit your fur but I think you do look better without sugar stuck all over your face. *wipes the last bit off and nods* There we go you're all clean now. *finishes of the rest of his lollipop* Of course it has it uses, it waters flowers and plants and is a good source for a drink
Lucia: I guess I do *grins* So with you in a grumpy mood, Numaland doesn't need to worry about ever suffering from a drought *giggles*
Lucius: *rolls eyes with a grin* Nope I'll supply the whole land with water, but I'll have to work on my cloud producing flavoured water for every Numa to enjoy. *wipes sticky sugar from mouth and ponders* How about a picnic?
Lucia: Wasn't the lollipops our picnic? *blinks in confusion* I didn't bring any food for a picnic either....
Lucius: Nuh huh The lollipops were a snack, everyone needs some snacks to keep them going. We could go get some food from somewhere?
Lucia: *thinks for a bit* I don't know.. I havnt looked around numaland much.. Although I think Ngaire said something about making sure I'm home for lunch..
Lucius: *purses mouth together with an innocent look* Well if you have to go in for lunch I'm still having a picnic. Sugar Plum normally eats strawberries and I'm free to do whatever I want.
Lucia: We can have a picnic tomorrow? I'll tell Ngaire that I wont be home for lunch.. *picks up her parasole*
Lucius: *gives a little nod* Sure why not? I'll work on getting my raincloud to produce flavoured water tonight so we wont need to bring drinks. *smiles with a wink* I look forward to it
Lucia: *smiles back at him and gives a twirl* I'll see you tomorrow Lucius. *scampers off home*
Lucius: Bye Lucia *waves bye and makes his way back home too*
