Mmm, they're a pretty shade of blue but I'd like them better if they were a tad smaller. It seems a little too big in my opinion. I like the artwork of her in the novel. She looks more her age in there. In the manga she just generally seems a lot better.

As for her English VA, I still don't like her. I prefer the Japanese VA's all together. That woman's scream is not an audio weapon for the police...well the scream from when Abel died is for sure. I think my ears almost bleed from it.

P.S. Don't mind the little stuff around it. Morning boredom does get the better of me.

I must confess that really like Esther. In the Anime, she seems underdeveloped and useless because Gonzo raped her characterization and storyarc. However, I'm fond of her in the Manga (look at her and her new design which makes her mature and beautiful like in the novel) and I love her in the novels. She is not a fighter, but she has a fighting spirit and a charisma as leader (not in the anime which made her Queenhood senseless).

I think people completely misunderstand her character if they really believe she (manga or novel speaking) has actual romantic feelings for Abel or Ion or anyone. She doesn't. She formed deep romantic friendships and was looking for her right partner-in-crime. She is a celibate heroine who ends up alone by choice. You can pair her off with anyone, nothing is really canon, but there's plenty of ship tease moments.
