To me it's beginning to sound like Santa Ana fell off the face of the Earth. No one seems to have heard of it, no one seems to know where it is. I wanna know how many of you know where it is, or if you even live near it.

I'll guess that you're not talking about the winds, the river, or the Mexican leader? xd
As far as I know, it's still off the 5 -- and who takes the 5 voluntarily? (yeah, I should talk; I'm right off the 101)
About... let's see... eight or nine years ago, a guy I worked with in Long Beach whose band had a practice room in Santa Ana. Uh... and that... yeah, that's the only thing I can really associate with Santa Ana. xp

Santa Ana still has the most people than any other city in Orange County (with Anaheim close behind). A few things point out the city's importance: -The County Seat and its government offices & courts -A major junction city for Freeway signs (since the Orange Crush is in Santa Ana) -Its in the geographic center of the county, though all the freeways basically border the city to the east & north.
Most of the city's prominent places (Bowers Museum, Discovery Science Center) as well as major industry (Hutton Centre) and retail (MainPlace) all lie in along the northern and eastern borders of the city as an extension of the major activity of their neighboring cities (Irvine, Costa Mesa, Orange, Anaheim).

I've always wanted to go to the DSC! The big box looks so cool from the freeway! I was in Irvine/Anaheim not long ago--I went to an Angels game with a friend from UCI--and am going again tomorrow! And I was through there on Thursday on my way to meet a friend in SD! I know where it is! Do I not count? ::cries::

I live in Irvine, and my mom has taken me to Santa Ana lots of times before, so...I know where Santa Ana is.
