Barakiell Oh, for the love all things Jewish! The least they could do is get their gosh darned information correct! You start rooting for one person and then they say something stupid! And they are all lumping Jews together! There are Ethiopian, Russian, Swedish (mah fine self), German, even Japanese (berry berry rare) Jews!! GARGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! scream um, a jew is a jew. all that stuff is secondary.

What you said was not stupid. I and I'm sure everyone got what you were saying, I understand, but I have to agree with what Zonko is saying, A Jew is a Jew, no matter what ethnicity. I get that the way the cultures of the environment they live in, may shape the way they observe Judaism, but the it remains, Judaism, is Judaism. On a aside not, although there is not an abundance of Jews in Japan, is not as rare as one might think. In fact, as ironic as it sounds, Japa n being one of the Axis powers and all, some amount of ships carrying immigrant Jews were sent there, so those Jews' children are technically Japanese if born in that country.

I know that, but before I did a research paper on that and really looked at the facts etc. I had never really realized, so I was just clarifying it for others.
