When you come upon the scene, it is a weak and dying Herald that you find, unable even to stand. A few scattered feathers on the ground are the only remnants of the wings it once possessed. It has come to this place to die...or be saved? That, of course, is up to you.
You are alone when you find the angel. The Heralds have long gone unsaved, and though it appears to you, it does not hold much hope of living on. Near to where the two of you meet rests a grey stone slab that the angel seems desperate to reach. With your help, the Herald climbs upon it, needing something from you to save its life. What will you choose to give it? And what significance does that item hold for you? Is it a family heirloom? Something you happened to have on hand? Something you'd purchased earlier that day? A lucky charm?
You may have noticed that many details have been left off. This is because we want you to have plenty of freedom to develop the scene yourself. Consider time of day, weather, season, etc. when you post.
Brewing Storm Metaplot Considerations for your Prompt: The time of day is still open for translation. The only thing that is set is that it is raining when you find your fallen angel, with the scent of a strong thunderstorm in the air. Cloud-to-cloud lightning is optional, but no cloud-ground.

Emily Odette sniffed pathetically as she took another teenie popper out of its container and popped it in her mouth. Instantly the sweet taste of chocolate and raspberry filled her taste buds, and soothed her heart a little more.
b*****d. She thought bitterly, as she clung to the umbrella that protected her from the downpour. She still found it hard to believe that her boyfriend of 6 months had just broke up with her, and as a result of her sorrows she found herself trudging amidst the rain just to get chocolate.
Now that she had the treat, she was glad she had gotten it, but couldn’t help but wish the rain would let up. Even just a little.
The little patters of rain drops hitting her umbrella echoed in her ear. Upon closer inspection of the sky, she knew that there would probably be lightning and thunder soon, and it succeeded in having the girl hurry up her steps more.
That is, until she tripped over a rock. She hissed in pain as her knee scrapped the ground and watched with nothing short of pure frustration as the wind blew a mighty gust and swept her umbrella into the air. Making a move to stand up and get the object before it was gone completely out of sight, Emily found that her teenie poppers had spilled onto the ground.
“Ho man!” She whispered in dismay, as she lost interest in the already impossible to reach umbrella. “There had been so many too…”
That’s when she saw it. It was a short movement, a jerk more like, and she only caught it in the corner of her eye. But when she turned around she saw the body crawling to a stone slab.
For lack of options she stood to help the poor creature onto the stone, not entirely sure what the hell it was. It was only once it was situated that it seemed to desire something from her. Naturally confused, Emily searched through her pockets to find something. Anything. But came up empty handed.
“Oh! Wait” She whispered, remembering her lost treat. Scurrying over to the tragic spill she reached down and scooped up a handful before presenting it to the figure on the slab. "Here..."
