That art is terrible! I could do better...(Well, almost)

Seriously, it's supposed to be about the dad, right?
Well my cousin's birthday is coming up, and I can hope someone buys it for her so we can both read it, although the art is so manufactured and soulless. That's what I hate about a lot of new comics, is just ...the fun has been taken out of them. The love and the life that makes them good...it's gone.

Just..sucked out in a vacuum of commercialism.

I am sick of commercialized comics. Lets go back to the sixties when people cared about their art, and comics were a dime. I would kill to go back. Think paying ten cents to get an original Spider-Man comic. Or whatever floats your boat.
But back in the days when comics were fun, and people put their souls into them. I miss that a lot. Then again, I'm what? 17? lol. But I totally read old comics. Screw this new crap.

Although Fray was incredible, and well done. Written by Joss Whedon, who is also writing a Buffy season 8 comic. Hmm. I've heard the art is terrible for that too, I would have used the same person who did Fray, because that guy could draw Buffy real well. (in his slayer comparison study...I was amazed)
