I've never understood the point in porn! But I've never found anything wrong with it either! As long a woman does it for the right reson men can 'pleasure' themselves anyway they want!!!!

Wow there are so many things that I want to say, that I feel like I cannot possibly quote everyone whom I wish to respond to. So in no particular order, I present my random opinion on porn:
I think that it allows men and women who can't satisfy themselves any other way then by looking at it to do so in a way that is not harmful to others.
As mentioned twice, Suicide Girls seems to be a very "healthy" kind of porn, showcasing women who seem more real then barbies. They are atractive women who seem to like what they are doing.
Personally, when I'm naked, I feel some sort of power of the other person I'm with, or even when I'm alone, being naked is just comfortable. As for picture-taking, the concept of being desired seems -well- quite desirable.
However there are many women who use porn as a last resort and are not well treated in consequence. There's a fine line between sexiness and fakeness, and it's a hard to stay on the right side when you're being harassed by your boss because, hey, you're just some chick in a porn movie. But maybe I'm getting a little... incoherent.
So without further ado:

It definitely depends on the porn, as some of you've already said. There's the "You're desperate and poor so ******** me and let me tape it and I'll give you money" porn that is very degrading and often depicts violence towards women. There's the cheesy crap that shouldn't be taken seriously enough to be degrading and in which women participate because they want to, though even some of this is violent. And there's the decent stuff, the Suicide Girls and such; and yes, even some of this is violent. Some of us are masochists, get over it. ninja The thing that annoys me the most is the lack of real lesbian porn.

the only thing i have to say is that porn actually make me really horny.
to me porn is just numb to the society, it really doesnt downgrade or upgrade the view of women. i remember one the comment their's a bad and good thing about porn.

I think that if it's considered porn, made for your sexual urges, it can never be beautiful or empowering. I think that...nude modeling and the like can be that, but never pornography.

Ever since this girl who was a pornstar got aids, the porn networks stated that bi [girl to girl] porn was the best type of porn.
I think I'm sort of flattered by this because we're getting more ratings but the thought of violation is rather sickening.

It isnt only female's that are being portrayed in a certain way ... but there are alot of different types of porn and some of it doesnt involve the blonde chick with the big boobs, and the tanned guy with a hugely built body. Porn is fine by me. It is sad when people start pouring their money into changing there body in ways like that though just to sell a few tapes.

I know more women who watch porn than men.
