I was watching TV earlier this morning and I saw a commercial for Cici's Pizza Buffet (which does not have any locations anywhere near where I live at the moment). In the commercial, a kid was eating pizza topped with mac & cheese!

So I was thinking we should totally unite to develop the ultimate mac&cheese pizza recipe!

pasta & bread= double carbs! D:

meh, it sounds yummy. minus the pasta part, perhaps just the cheese sauce with hot dog bits and maybe some veggies?

Haha, carbs are my friend.

You make mac & cheese with hot dogs?

Maybe if a wheat crust were used, or perhaps a thin crust supplemented with baked pasta on top, and then covered with a cheese sauce?

That sounds heavenly! You could cook the M&C on the stove till it's ALMOST DONE and work on the pizza dough while it's cooking, have a pizza stone warming up in the oven, and bury the whole thing in a healthy dose of your fave queso then pop it in, maybe sprinkling some cut up veggies, hamsteak and a little bit of onion? *mmm* I'm moving to a new place soon, with an oven that's brand-spanking new. I was planning to buy a pizza stone. I should totally try this out... *mmm*

I tried this, and it seems to work best if you use some kind of spiral noodles -- rotini worked well for me. The actual macaroni had a strange texture, likely because of the shape. I have thought of wrapping giant cheese-stuffed shells with pizza dough, though. It sounds delightful in my head.

I like to keep my pizza a little more traditional. I have been to Cici's and so far, I have always passed on the mac n' cheese pizza. I am sure it is good though. Cheese, pasta, and bread usually go good together no matter what.

I've yet to go to Cici's, but I've been to Stevie B's (which is exactly the same, I've been told) and had their mac-'n'-cheese pizza. It was surprisingly delicious, and is one of my favorites (after the barbeque chicken pizza, of course). 3nodding

Yum sounds good. Even better maybe with a mac and cheese made of good quality cheese and maybe adding bread crumbs to the top to make it more of a baked mac and cheese.

Perhaps a flatbread like crust and some light pasta (perhaps a whole wheat noodle and a cheesy bechamel sauce. Herbs and tada. Sounds actually quite delectable.

There's a pizza place in my city that has all these specialty kinds of pizza, such as steak and fries pizza, pesto pizza, lasagna pizza, and MACARONI AND CHEESE PIZZA :]
It sounds weird but it's reallllly good.
