Cerri's face went solemn, and she sighed. "Besides the more mundane security system, I have more wards than you can shake a stick at. You were let in because I made sure the system would recognize you. The protections aren't absolute, but they are there, and well done. Bard put them up for me, before he left."

Cerri smiled and shook her head, reaching out to touch his cheek. "I wouldn't mind at all. Bring anything over that you like. I'll even let you have your own room if you want."

"You're forcing me into my own room?" Guan asked with mock disapointment. "I was hoping I could help you break your bed in properly," he said, bringing the teacup up for mumbling something about various other locations in the house that would requir breaking in.

Cerri turned a bit pink in the face, though it was probably more from excitement than embarrassment. "Well..." she murmured, then cleared her throat. "I said if you would like I'd give you your own room... but I'd much rather have you stay in mine. We could go start breaking in the bed now, if you're up for it." she teased.

"Well then..." Cerri stood and offered her hand, eye twinkling. "The grand tour can wait until tomorrow. I think I'm suddenly very tired, and need to retire." she winked, then whistled for the dog, who stood up and plodded slowly to the stairs, sensing it was time for bed.
