Hey guys, I'm a newbie to the guild, and I have been out of the loop in doing web design for a good 3+ years now, but last year I decided to go about finishing up a website for myself, rather then using online galleries exclusively to host my work. One of the concerns that left me with no interest in setting up a website again was the potential of someone coming across my work, and taking it for their own.

However, I've noticed a few illustrators I follow using Jalbum, or some variation of it to protect the artwork in their websites, and I'm planning to do the same. I'm curious if anyone's used it on their own websites and what there experience has been with it. Or, in that absence, someone had information about alternatives.

I have not heard of this web photo gallery, but I checked it out on google and this is so far the best result:

X

It includes a review, a list of pros and cons and some other stuff.

I've used it before, the program itself seems to run a bit slow for me, but the resulting finished product is superb. it has many features and looks like you can set up comments if you have a database..

check out my Photoalbum @ http://www.dracojesi.com (site not finished so some stuff might not work)

I'm going to uploaad an art album when I scan some more of my work.
