He listened to her still intently. He was a good listener, always had been. "That's a ridiculous way of thinking. If she is an immortal then she will live forever, she will have to get over it someday or be driven insane by lonliness. I know all about that and I've not endured it for that long."
Then at her other words he bristled slightly. Would this girl not listen to him?! He meant no offense to Mrost but he wanted to protect this girl from being lured into something she wouldn't understand. Nix and her sister.
Then again, maybe there was nothing to worry about. LikeNix was thinking, Hakan thought to Mrost's mate. She had been a Goddess and she had been loved...or so he thought. Maybe he was worrying for no reason.
"Fine." He replied. "But if you or your sister get hurt then I'm going to say, I told you so." He crinkled his nose.

Nix smiled and padded to his side, flicked her tail and grinned, "You can say I told you so if you wish, though if I'm in trouble, I can take care of myself," she said nodding. She then made a circle around him, smiling all the while, she felt happy, giddy even. Perhaps this other god knew her sister, then at last she could stop worrying and stop looking after Nix found her.
But what to do now? Perhaps he would tell her which way?
"Which way is your god friend? Or must search him out on my own?" she wasn't sure if he would agree to tell her which way to go, and if he did, if it was the right way to his god friend.
What do to?

"Listen to me, Nix'Annada. I understand that you worry for your sister. Trust me I do. I worry about my sister and brother all the time. Even now they are fully grown and strong I fear for their safety. There isn't a day that goes past when I don't think about them." His words were so sincere that it almost hurt to speak them.
"I cannot, lady of the lightning." His words held nothing but respect. He had seemed to give up on his irritation. That seemed not to work on females anyway. "If I told you where he was that could be putting you into danger. I cannot and will not do that. I mean no offence to my mast-- friend but he is strong and cunning and he is not one for being friendly to just anyone, you understand."
He wished he had not mentioned Mrost now, but there was no way she would force the name or direction out of him. Plus, without communicating to Mrost, he would have no idea on where he was...
Well not unless he was patroling his new territory that is.

Nix was saddened he felt the same way for his family, but it was just the way it would be she supposed, though it also upset her when it seemed like he would not direct her to his god friend. Pity, she felt like she was so close she could taste it, she could feel it like the surging of energy through her blood. She flicked her white tufted tail, and nodded, "I understand, some immortals don't like company of their own kind I suppose, forgive me if I put too much pressure on you warrior Hakan, I just felt like I was so close to seeing her again."
Her ears fell back a bit, but she tried to show no more disappointment then that. Her feathers were rustled by the wind, her eyes then cast up to the sky, in the distance it was turning dark and gray.
A storm.
Would be the perfect time to stock up on some energy, that or release the vast amount she held in her now. A storm with lightning bolts to others would not seem so strange, so that would be best.
Though she hesitated a moment, she did not want to leave Hakan yet, he seemed like a friend...least in her eyes, but she knew she had to go soon. Though even without Hakan's direction, she would search for her sister...and this other god, Hakan didn't have to know of course. "Hakan, forgive me, but it seems like our time together here is drawing short, my energy wishes to be released, and that can only be done elsewhere I am afraid..for your well being of course. Can I come find you again?"

"Of course. To see another friendly face in this lonely world would be a great relief. Maybe next time we meet you will see my daughter?" Oh he adored his little Kimondo. "She would love to see you too, I'm sure."
Then he craned back his head to the storm clouds approaching and remembered the crackle of lightning and power that he had witnessed before. He definately didn't want to miss this show, especially since he was the only one who would know that a Goddess was up there.
"Do you mind if I sit and bathe in your power, Nix'Annada?" He queried, though he would probably spy on it anyway.

"Your daughter?" a flicker of a memory, of a daughter, not her own, someone else's, why had the years wasted away the clearness of the thought, the image? "Yes of course, I'm sure she is just as grand as you Hakan," she said with a nod. Yes, it'd be nice to meet other. She smiled though at this statement, nodded and unfolded her wings from her back, "Yes of course, though I'll have to go a ways from here, your safety remember, would not want your daughter upset with me. You'll be able to see from here though."
With that she smiled, flicked her tail once more and flapped her feathered wings until she was soarings towards the graying clouds. As she rose higher, she felt her power surge inside again, close, too close. Though in mere moments the thunder rolled on, and droplets of water came form the skies. The clouds had tears of their own to shed, and she'd shed a bit of light above the fallen tears.
Once she was a good ways away from Hakan, her new found friend, in her eyes, she situated herself so she was hovering in the gray clouds, hidden form those below. In a brilliant flash of light, her stripes began to glow as the crackle of lightning rang out, and a brilliant flash of light could be seen around, crackling in all directions.
It was who she was, lightning, a cold fire living.
She'd find her sister, even the god he spoke of...yes, a cold fire living, she;d blaze on forever.
