Yes. It was made in the mid 70's, and there were like 10 or so made of them. ^^ Basically, they revolved around the monoliths, and how they'd show up in various parts of history, and then, they'd show a modern day space age counterpart to the earlier person, and how they too made the transition to the Star Child, in much the same way Dave Bowman did.
