Uru flinched terribly as Greg set the drinks down without any costers, ignoring the napkins on the table - only someone as close to Uru as Edd would notice he was just acting. With a look of disgust on his face, he lifted up Edd's coke and set the napkin under it, taking a blank one for his own drink.
"Eh, nevermind.."
The napkin showed a sort of diagram - a cross section of what appeared to be unnervingly similar to the truck out back, showing the outline and cabin of the vehicle plainly, with the back portion of it 'transparent', showing the considerable armament inside. Uru was no poor artist - the sketch was extremely detailed.
It even had a descriptive little caption - 'This just came through on my comm. line'

Slowly the door to Greg’s deli was pulled open and the two stepped inside, seemingly as out of place as always. With a small smile Chance escorted Crystal to the counter, liking the idea of being able to watch just how his food was made. “Excuse me sir, is it too late to grab a sandwich?” He inquired while he looked to the both containing Uru, and Greg. He would wait patiently and felt somewhat bad about disturbing the man while he was talking, however, they would have to get home soon.
“Can I get a milkshake?” Crystal asked him lightly, her voice low enough so only Chance could hear it. Once again she was back to her cold self, her dark eyes scanning everything around them and noticing the picture in front of Uru. She smiled lightly her hands reaching up and twirling one of the many small braids in her pigtails. As she looked to Uru she found herself growing more and more curious as to what the picture was, the distance from her and the man just far enough to obscure her vision. Instead of taking her place at Chance’s side she unclipped the leash from around her neck and began walking towards the table with Uru and Edd.
“May I see what you are drawing, I will go away if not…” Her voice seemed bold and straightforward, the tone carried implying that should Uru say no there might be trouble.

"Beautiful sketch, mate, but what the 'ell..." Edd was interrupted by some lady coming over to talk about this interesting sketch. Edd picked up the napkin and, nonchalantly began eating it. He stuffed it in his mouth, Took a big drink of coke, and swallowed. He then gave a big smile. "No. Go away."
Greg nodded. "What kind 'a sandwich, or if you prefer in the plural, sandwiches, would you like?"

The cold growl that escaped Crystal immediately tore Chance’s gaze away from the menu above the counter. This might be more trouble then it was worth; especially if only for a few sandwich’s. With an apologetic nod to Greg he quickly got to his feet, dropping the leash for a moment as he walked over to his ‘sister’. He grabbed her arm gently as she glared daggers into Edd’s eyes, and with a light sigh he lifted the small girl from her feet and into the crook of his arm. “Sorry about that, she has an insatiable curiosity… And a cold temper…” And with that he carried the girl back to the counter. “Order your meal and be decent about it or you are going to starve.” He growled as he set her down upon one of the stools. “Sorry about that, one BLT’s and another beverage for the men over there.”
Crystal’s hands were tensed at her sides, her hand rising as if she were about to slap one, even both of the members at the booth. Before she could react Chance scooped her up and another dull hiss shot forth, her eyes turning, if possible at the moment, a darker shade of brown.
“I was nothing but polite, I did nothing wrong and in turn I expect to be treated like a decent member of society… I was simply looking, is that a crime now?”
Crystal’s cold tone made Chance flinch lightly, a look of apprehension etched beautifully onto every feature. This was the look she craved, her eyes narrowing into small slits every time he glanced in her direction. With a small glare she looked back at the man, trying to understand why he seemed to be such a d**k as she lifted and pocketed her leash.

"Really, it depends on what policeman ye' ask. You been in town lately? I dunno how they keep it where yer' from, but 'round here, it's best to keep to yourself." Edd would snap back towards Uru, and begin talking very lowly. "Who snapped that, and who else was it sent to?"

Jester hurried into the drivers seat as fast as he could, started the truck and put it into drive. As he did this he looked at Gabriel, his face had changed yet again, not to the angry one from earlier but to a cool and confident mask that showed little emotion. He had stolen many a car and been the get away driver for a few heists so this would be nothing new to him he knew when to hurry and when not to, and fifteen minutes was more than enough for him, even at a legal pace. So he slowly pulled the car out of the alley and at the sidewalk he stopped, and looked at Gabriel again, "If you want out, now would be the time."

"Let's get somethin' straight, friend. Your kind don't like my kind, for whatever reason, but our goals are similiar, regardless of what you would like to think. We hate this gaddamn theocracy as much as the next guy, so when I tell you that getting out would be contradictory to my plans, I want you to catch my full meaning. Now, I suggest we get the ******** out of here before some feds show up, because as much heat as we are toting, we're not gonna show up on a scanner as ******** mailmen. NOW DRIVE!" With that, Gabriel reached into the back, and pulled forth an automatic weapon, of some indescribable nature. He flicked off the safety, and held it below sightline, in the case that a member of the law would attempt to pull them over.

"Outside agent - not ours. Open-beam transimission, Edd. They're low tech or too arrogant for their own good. We don't know where it was sent - barely caught it going out."
Uru's voice was almost completely silent - only someone sitting as close to him as Edd, and actually listening, would have caught any of the short briefing he had just given. With a sip from his coke, Hiru glanced toward Crystal and Sariel.
"There's a lot what can implicate one for a criminal through the eyes alone. Careful what you look at, hey?"

Chance’s eyes flashed lightly before glancing to the clock above the counter. “s**t.” With a small sigh he placed what would be more then enough money on the counter, grabbed their things and walked towards the door. “We really have to be going, pleasure seeing you all, hope to be back soon.” He spoke, his voice coming out as more of a growl then anything, his hand grabbing Crystal’s and forcefully pulling her out the door. The streets seemed to be empty enough, however the sound of sirens in the distance made him uneasy. With a small smirk he began to run, scooping crystal into his arms as if she really did weigh nothing.
“What’s wrong?”
Crystal’s eyes went wide for a moment, her calm demeanor shattered and replaced with something along the lines of fear. Her arms wrapped around Chance as they ran, each step carrying them quickly away from the sound and making her tummy hurt from the bump of each step.
“I’m hungry… I don’t want to go back to camp…”
She moaned lightly, the sandwiches flailing about as Chance carried them in his small backpack. In a few moments they would shrink away, slipping into the sewers entrance.

"Ten to one it's the church..." Edd held his face in his hands, his irish accent gone now. Uru might have even gotten used to this by now. "We need something to draw 'em back... To distract em. I got to, anyway, or else they're gonna be eaten alive. You can help if you want..." Edd started getting up.

Ch-clack...
CLANG
Uru stood up just as Edd did, one arm reaching around behind his back and unfastening the object secreted there. In a sweeping motion, his right arm came across the guard-handle of the thing, pulling the overheat safety free. With a grin he nodded toward the bar.
"I always thought this place wasn't dinnery enough. What do you think?"
Again, a sweeping motion of the right hand, pulling the JakJak pistol from his belt and pointing it across the rather larger gun in his left hand - at Greg.
"Hey, you been thinking about remodeling?"

Greg shivered, but held it together. "I got insurance. Do whatever you want, you crazy ******** laughed, and nodded at Uru. "You light this place up, I'm gonna give 'em something else to look at a ways off. Meet up at the undercity in five hours?" Edd would wait for Uru's reply, and then bolt off onto the street.

Uru nodded cheerfully, leaning over to take a sip from the Coke on the table, and then turned toward the front of the sandwich shop. Breathing levelly, he started counting under his breath, slowly leveling and bracing the bulky armament held in his left hand.
"Three...two...one...you better be outta the way, Edd...ZERO!"
During the last five seconds of counting, a steady, clicking whirr had been gradually speeding up, like some sort of engine revving for a ridiculous blast out the starting gates...
Bang BangBang BLAMBLAMBLAM BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM
The front wall of Greg's Deli exploded.
