Well, I think I like the robes, better. But, really, it's pretty clear that they wear the robes some of the time, and regular muggle clothes other times.
I think robes are more of a thing where you're immersing yourself fully, in the wizarding world.
If that makes sense. gonk

Well, they have to wear muggle clothing at least some of the time. hence Mrs. Weasley's sweaters. Hm, I think during school tehy wear teh robes, but during break they wear Muggle clothing. they probably don;'t have aset unifor to wear under the robe, or it would've been noted in the list they send out for what they'll need that year.
