Does anyone have a better name then?

I'm not going to use Alternative Christian or Goth Christian though.

I understand gay people will take it that way.... but I don't have anything else to go on right now and I want to move this guild this week!

You do understand that if it comes down to it as a captain I will always be able to reset everything anyway?

Ok, then any more name ideas?

How about Alternative Christian Living?

What do you all say to that name?

@kknm - previously you stated that alternative lifestyles means gay people. no it doesn't. it includes gay people. it also includes goths, outcasts, and anyone with a lifestyle that isn't a part of mainstream society.

While technically this is true, the fact is that it is used so often to refer to homosexuals and so little referring to other societal misfits that it has come to mean rather exclusively homosexuals. I'm pointing this out so that we don't end up with ten different topics on homosexuality and no straight people joining because of what others might think. While you are right, it ultimately comes down to public perception.

Well, I'm thinking it over still and will probably make a decision tomorrow about the name. I'll make up a banner or two myself since I don't have any yet (partly because I need to decide on the name 100%).

Once I have the new location established... I will contact all of you guys by PM... and you will get a guild PM asking you to join also.

In other news.... It's my 23rd birthday today! Go me! Happy birthday to me. xd heart

Really did you think about your sig images before you put them up??
Why do those who want to live in such a manner need to get married? so they can enjoy the tax benifets all married couples do?
Well okay if it's for tax reasons then why do people have to be homosexual, or heterosexual to be able to form such a union for tax benifits? Shouldn't anyone be able to do it, if they are committed to sharing finances together?

The real reason why married couples get the tax benefits to help out families. And yes all families should be able to enjoy this regardless of the family paradigm they have in their household.

Approval of gay marriages is approval of gay sexual relations. Which is okay if you are not a Christian. According to the Bible however we know, if you have read the Bible, that homosexual relations is SIN.

Sin is sin no matter what sin it is, and should not be given our approval as Christians. As always remember the Love that Christ has shown us, when we were such wretched sinners very far from God Christ came and died for us that we may be reconciled to Him unto life everlasting! So treat all of God's creations with love and respect. This does not mean that we approve of sin, but we love sinners. As Christ loves all sinners otherwise none would be saved.

BTW, I am the main mod that was running this place... I had to start a new guild because our captain left and I needed to be able to control the guild on my own.... as a mod I couldn't; I am the captain of "Free Thinking Christians. Please join us over there!
