I tried it but I was getting annoyed there were 3 different windows open of the same program it took too much of my start bar space up and I dont think its that user friendly I think its more complicated, but for being something similar to photoshop i give it a 8 out of 10...I use Paint.NET. But yea I hope the program works for all you people smile

Well if you can actually have it so that the layers (or any other dialogues window you have open) is in the tool/main window.

I'd rather use photoshop, because I already know my way around it and the navigation is just easier for me.

But when I'm at home, on my home computer, I use GIMP.

Same here, but I use Photoshop at school because they don't have The Gimp.

To tell you the truth I have not even tried it. I probably should. I have heard many good things about it, I just love photoshop to much (main reason why I do not switch to Linux).

I accidentally deleted my windows partition so I am sorta forced to use gimp now. It has its pros and cons. I wish it was one window.

NEW VERSION CAME OUT!

I tried to download it but it doesn't work on my compy. (XP)

Weird...it works on the big compy, which is windows XP (one I'm using now).

Just a shame it won't work on a windows 98 (my own computer which I spend the most time on because I don't have to fight my brother to use it....or wait until he leaves it free for me to use).
