Well the main idea behind it is that they're two people connected by fate. Like a soul mate or something similar. But only strong units can control spells and fight together and I think that's why the school was created, so that strong fighters could develop their spells and techniques. But who can say if the school is the actually source behind their power?. I personally don’t believe anyone made and gave the powers to a number of specific units; I think it all comes down to the strength of the fighter. But let’s put it this way - in a world where virgins have cat ears and tails anything can be possible so the possibilities behind the reason and connection of fighter and sacrifices are endless (well they're actually all in the author's head...)

Yes but what brought on the whole fighter and sacrifice unit? we know what they put them their for, but we dont know why they put them there for!

I see your point. Well have you ever consider that they want to prepare the strongest fighters for some sort of war? I mean why is it that all the senseis are obsessed with building or creating the ultimate fighter or unit team? I think that maybe the school is a cover up for their research. I think they're preparing for a war. Also the one that placed them there was the author...it cant be easier than that. Other that my asumptions I can not give you a 100% acurate answer.The person that brought the whole fighter and sacrifice unit idea was the author and also in the Loveless world that seems to be the basic pattern of life. Like I said before, it's like they're connected by fate. Destined Soul mates.

instead of everybody going to war leaving their loved ones behind, they go to war with meeting and WITH their loved ones.

I like the idea of protector and protected, thats why i say Soubi's seme for because he is the fighter, fighters protect, males protect females thus Ritsuka uke Soubi seme!

that and the fact that Ritsuka has SUCH a uke personality, when it comes down to it people say Ritsuka is becoming more sacrifice like and sacrifices are on top etc he would be seme, but thast the only reason why really :/

(even if it is main but yea it can apply to females and males to, even though i dont belive in such like that eithier except that females are the ukes of the relationships and males semes.)

if you ask me 9 out of 10 Ritsuka is uke in my eyes, by personality and even when they get older and sleep together Ritsuka total uke!

anyways because that is off topic i will say this, i know what you mean about the whole why they was put there for i had and have no ideas for it, your right Kouga Yun might of put it there for plot line.

though it would be very big and wanderious if there is a meaning behind it.

Very good question!
I will speculate that sacrifices are like saints in the world.
People so plagued and choosen by God,to be a entity or an example so to speak.
Look at Ritsuka.
He is such a being plagued by incest of his brother,child abuse by his mother,neglect from his father,and strange lust by various people around him.
And his brother is also similar.
Has a history of people who hate him,scorn,fear,incest,abuse.
So to me,a sacrifice really is just that to society.
If that is what you are,then that makes you a sacrifice along with fate.
Now a fighter to me is like a protector of this type of person.
A guardian angel so to speak. Bond to that one person by fate.
I hope this is the best speculation.
I call myself a sacrifice,because like Seimei I have so much scorn and hatred from people I barely know. And I fear that it'll be my own damnation.
Now the "orginization" or Nanatsu no Tsuki,is just that. A togetherness of all the teams more or less. Or an evilness to seperate them.

though i may have to ask you to put spoilers in white, there are people in this guild that dont know them and even though its a matter of days before the 5h volume comes out, people still wouldent want to be spoiled.
