Three Mages for Three Souls B ran recieves a letter from Dacian asking him to come to the facilities because they'd like him to foster a child. Without a second thought he goes there, to have a child of his own is something he never thought he'd be able to recieve. He meets two other potential parents and is shown to his little ball of energy.

The Time Between S o much has happened since I've moved here in so little time, it feels. Zack and I have been spending a lot of time together, all starting during the night of the day he helped me unpack my belongings. We shared a drink and... shared some information, I suppose you could say.
Osha is quiet, but he's a dear little boy. I enjoy letting him play with my knick-knacks, light knows that they could use some actual play. They only ever really sit around and collect dust. I've noticed he likes the brightly colored ones, especially of the red, orange, and yellow variety. Warm colors, like his little self.
Who knew something so surprising could happen so fast... perhaps it was at first sight? I'm just lucky.. lucky to have such close new friends and to eventually recieve a child of my own.
I can't decide how to decorate the room, though... Maybe I'll ask Zack.

Handle with Care W hile out shopping at a Flea Market, Hadrian finds Bran to tell him that his child will be born soon! Not waisting any time they make it to the facilities only to have a little girl appear right before their eyes. Bran names her Hlao and she is officially put into his care.

Shattered I t had been sudden and unexpected. No sooner had Bran recieved Hlao... was able to form a family, was happy, and was preparing to show Zack and celebrate...
Well...
...They intercepted. The Council. Even banished from his home and made to live in constant shame and embarassment with his panted horns they were still intent on making him suffer completely. He was a blasphemer and it was in their good intentions for the child.. at least that was the excuse they had given.
Bran had been summoned to the Chapel that was here on Gaia, in a far remote location admist the mountains where the Logos that resided there could stay aloof and above the disgusting taint of the heathen creatures that called themselves human below. He had been ordered to bring Hlao as well.. he'd been reluctant, and he'd wanted even more to tell Zack but he thought it best not to. No sense worrying the other man senselessly.
The Council had done all within their power to try and take her away from him and Bran had fought with tooth and nail to protect her, to keep her away from their warped interpretation of living. He wanted her happiness only, and thankfully she was too young to understand really what was happening. All he had to do was smile and her cheerful smile in return could shield him from anything that the Council tried to do to him.
Finally... they had relented, though only under their own circumstances..
With Hlao safely in bed and sleeping Bran payed the toll of keeping her. And he would have paid it a thousand times more if he needed, she had quickly become his entire world despite their relativly short time together.
He had smiled and kissed her forehead when she asked him about the broken state of his left horn, and the clumsy bandages that he wore around his arms. She didn't see the ones beneath his clothing, thank goodness.
And they headed home...
