Yeah, I meant pokemon that fit together for species/features, not what game they were in.
Beedrill and Vespiquen are bees/hornets.
Butterfree and Beautifly are butterflies.
Dustox, Mothim and Venomoth are moths.
Drapion and Gliscor are scorpions.Are either Drapion or Gliscor Gligar? It looks kinda like a scorpion, too, but if there's a better term, I don't know.

im not sure if umbreon/espeon counts. they are in a 7-part evolution tree.
charizard and blastoise have venasaur between them also, so that dosnt count.
as for the butterfree/dustox/vespiqueen/ect. thing, i think you should pair them by when they came out:
butterfree/beedrill
dustox/beautifly
vespiqueen/mothem(?)
the gligar/drapion is an exception
and venemoth by itself.
and dont forget;
magmar/electabuzz
clefable/wigglytuff
magcargo/manantine
hitmonchan/hitmonlee (hitmontop has perfect balance, so these too make more sense as a pair)
alakazam/golem (more so than machamp, i think)
camelrupt/sharpeedo (magma/aqua, if you payed attention)
linoone/mightyena
volbeat/illumise
(?)= i dont know for sure, since i dont have the gamne yet (which totally SUCKS because it means my knowlage is obsolete to an extent)
