my uncle's scriptures got stolen off of a row in the chapel during or after sacrament meeting, he had left and came back and they were gone. he asked everyone and no one had any idea about a set of scriptures missing, no one made an announcement saying they found any or anything sweatdrop

Did he have his name on them? Once I went to church and came home with my scriptures, put them down on my desk and reolized I now had two sets of scriptures, redface sweatdrop if I hadn't noticed right then I would probably just think they were my sisters and we never would have returned them. whee

i think he did...

My sister wants to get a tattoo, it would be mad if she could at least get a CTR one or something...*sigh*(She's inactive)

Hmm, when I went to the Temple last year to see the Christmas Lights, I saw some car parked there that it's registration plate was CTR 352(Whatever random numbers).

My CTR ring has either been sucked up by a vacumm cleaner, when I pulled it off at the hairdressers and lost it, or someone else picked it up. Such a shame, it was silver...

And our neighbour's house HAS been broken into, and the thieves stole all their sets of scriptures. Now they have none. So now, the family are praying the thieves will actually read the scriptures.

I once heard a story about a woman who drank an occasional coffee and wanted to get a temple reccommend. She couldn't for breaking the word of wisdom.

I know Darkslider had a really nice watch stolen from his locker while he was doing baptisms for the dead. Right in the temple, someone stole his watch.+

Such a shame. It's hard to blame him for doubting, really.

In my old ward, a lot of the young women were preppy ((don't ask.)) But what bugged me the most was that they wore short-shorts and tank tops at school, but were applauded by the leaders for their excellent modesty during church and church activities. It made me sick.

But I might just have been being overly judgemental . . . sweatdrop

Or you could have just recognized the intrinsic nature of the appearance of evil-ness that teh genreal authorities talk about. Satan work s in misterious ways right?

Theres the guy who got all the prophets tattooed on his back, but there one to many, and I can't figure out who or which one it is. confused
Christ is in the middle.

Yes, I know that... even counting him there is one too many. I think its that funny looking guy on the far right top row... he doesn't look like he belongs. confused

Looks like the actual person with the tattoos, can't really tell though.

Also, it is statisticly proven that the most common thing stolen from Deseret Book/Seagull Book & Tape and stores like that.....is the CTR ring.

You think I'm kidding? Go ask someone who works there...
I think you are right, it looks like the guy himself... interesting. DO you think he just wanted to be in the presence of the prophets, or does he fancy himself one himself?

On my mission one of the sisters' apartment was broken into. The crooks probablyu were a bit confused that there was no stereo, TV, etc. to steal. But they stole about 10 Books of Mormon! We thought it was awesome and told them they should count that on thier weekly report as BoM's placed. hee hee hee!

I don't even work there and I believe you. Somebody actually stole my CTR ring at EFY once. Not kidding.

My bro got his scriptures stolen at church... he left them out in a window sill with other seminary scriptures... and they had his name on them...

So yeah, I'd believe it.

My neighbor wants to get a tattoo of a dotted line going around his arm and "Ammon, cut here." written underneath it.

O_o I've never heard of any of this, honestly. Maybe scriptures being stolen, but not other than that. It's all just craziness!

I can't really identify them, or even tell whether they're in the correct order. But in case someone else here is more discerning than I, here are a few pics.

I think the one that dosn't belong is above Jesus and to the right. like right on top of jesus. but I'm not totally sure. so don't take my word for it.

i think its kinda ironic that all our leaders/teachers tell us that gossipping is bad and so is peer pressure at church, and then the entire relief society gossips about how "such a nice girl" could make such a horrible mistake and in YM and YW you're pressured into stuff all the time by your peers
