the Skele Key is good for really bad lock picers begginers should head to the dedric shrine after they get out of sewers.

you have to be at least level 10 to get the quest...

If your a journymen in security before you get the key it makes you a master(or almost). mrgreen IT OWNS!! But its also to easy..... hmmmm should I get it in my new account....? I want a challange but it would make things SOOO much easier....

Oh yes. The skleton key is awesome. Auto Attempt until it opens!!! HA! I always use auto attempt...I suck at doing it myself. crying

Ya, i LOVE that thing, it's the only Daedric Artifact I went for. The +25 boost to security and being an unbreakable lockpick is awesome! But i never do auto attempt though, I can breeze through even 5-tumbler locks with my eyes closed in one try, because my security level is so high.

It's actually a +40 boost to Security, hehe. xd
if one of your major skills is security, just level up to 100 with the skeleton key then put it in a "safe" chest in one of your houses, then just level up more! 4 more levels right there (40/10=4)

timmy23 The Skeleton key is just an unbreakable lockpick. Just go up to a door or chest and lockpick like normal and you will use the Skeleton key. yep, however, if u get it, u will permanently have your security skills augmented, meaning u cant level your security skills anymore

Pretty sure you can't drop the Skeleton key, I could be wrong. But yeah I'm pretty good at picking locks. And purest_heart, you can stick pick a lock by each tumble if you want instead of doing an auto attempt.
