Miss Murdered razzledazzle5160 Miss Murdered razzledazzle5160 Miss Murdered But I'm in this guild and I totally get the book... No no, she's saying that the people in this guild COULD understand it because we do look around us and see the things going around. OH, I get it. I had to reread it a few times. I thought it said "WOULDN'T be able to understand...". Got it, got it. 3nodding xd For future reference, I am very, very slow. Actually, I'm really not. I can think on my feet if needed, but I like to say I'm slow in case I come off as slow. Then you won't feel slow for not picking up on the...slowness. That made me sound slow, didn't it? lol a simple misunderstanding! i am the same exact way and so what. humans aren't perfect and thats what makes us unique and entertaining!

'Cause there is no perfection. Seriously, think about it: do we actually know what perfection IS?

Exactly, that's just like calling someone normal.

razzledazzle5160 Exactly, that's just like calling someone normal. 3nodding Normality is fake. Invented by people to make themselves feel superior, and to make people obsessed with fitting in and hiding the real parts of themselves - the randomness, crazyness, creative bits that no one is supposed to show cause it's not what 'normal' people do. Like, for a small example, how talking to yourself is supposed to be abnormal, right? I don't know one single person who doesn't do it!

Normality is all a matter of opinion. Everyone has a different idea of "normal". 3nodding

So that makes it normal, but it really isn't, since there is no "normal". "Normal" is a mask for the majority, I believe. But still, we have no idea what it is.

Yes, and I think that is the same with 'perfection'. What is perfection really? Perfection can mean something different to anyone.

I've just read back over what I said and I'm not sure it came out right.. Lemme try this again...
To me, the definition of what normality is, is whatever the majority are doing. Let's get Mr. Dictionary to help out on this one..
normal /'nc:m(e)l/ adjective 1 conforming to standard; regular, usual, typical. 2 free from mental disorder.
So basically.. whatever most people are up to. But what I think, really... is that what the majority are actually up to isn't what we're told. I've been told that it's not normal to talk to yourself or your pets, it's not normal to feel depressed and suicidal sometimes, it's not normal to want something more from life than work, marriage, kids and death.
I challenge any random person in the street to look at that list, and some of the other things I've been told, and not admit to feeling the same.
I just think we're being made to feel strange when really us mad idiots are in the majority. And as soon as we realise that, the world is ours.

But "pure normality", or, what people say when they say things like "act normal" doesn't exist. Ask someone what is normal to them. They will say "not weird". Because nobody knows what it actually is.
