The Love Mutt
Alright. To any who stalk the contest forum, you're sure to have run into
the awesomeness of the WW&CCF, or one of its prevailing members.
So here I ask you, Writing Contest Forum of Gaia, to show them your thanks.
This is your chance to offer something in return.
There will be no fee, but donations will be gladly accepted (as I refuse to take money from the WW&CCF for this one. It's for them, so THEY CAN'T HELP).
As of right now, I am the main judge and will be receiving some help from Sqarr on the prose side. I'm currently in the process of finding a solely-poetry judge as well. If my attempt fails, I will find one person to help me. Sqarr will not be doing critiques; that will be me. Entries can be poetry or prose. I'm feeling generous. I'll start off with just one long list, but if a good number of both prose and poetry is received, then I may so choose to make two separate categories.
You may submit up to three entries, BUT only the first entry will be free. Additional entries will cost 100g for the second and 200g for the third. This is to keep it fair for the others. If you can't understand my logic, please just accept it. ALSO. Keep it fairly short. No more than three printed pages. If it's a story, I'd prefer it in Times New Roman or Arial size 12. Double space between paragraphs.
BTW- No deadline as of yet. Towards end of March at least. Depends on entrants flooding in, and when I personally have the time.

I'm going to start PMing those who have shown interest in this, as well as make an announcement in here.
I need to find out how many people are just here to chat and/or how many people are actually planning on entering and (hopefully) are simply working on their entry. So please, PM me (when you see this or recieve mine) to let me know...

P.S. Scoring Rubric to come soon; -please- be grammatically correct- That's a biggie in my eyes. Personal interest will be a strong point, as well as some other minor points like how well you adapted to the prompt, and (this may affect Mahayr more strongly) the overall sense of appreciation.

Write something about the WW&CCF, a poem about Mahayr or Sqarr, perhaps, an ode to the Quest Pool, a heroic epic adventure of teh WW&CCF against scam contests, or a simple thank you ballad.
Etcetera. This is a loosely-prompted contest. That does not mean it has to be a certain way, but it DOES have to be about some aspect of the WW&CCF.

A Southern gentlewoman, tried and true, smiles to hersweet
self,
reading her mate's magick again.
She puts aside her tea to pick up her inkblotter, then
wraps herself ohsotightly in her furs
(la creme de la creme),
ready to dream sweet nothings of her polar
Opposite, her Lover, her
mate,
whispering Odds & Ends to match the cluttered
Chaos of her world. Seroquel (yes i remember) brings
peace to her mind and the world revolved to awaken her
Glory.
