The main reason why I like Japan is because the language is so cool! I'd love to learn it in college, and study abroad. It'd be a wonderful opportunity.
However, one thing I don't like is the homogeniety (everything being the same). If you are the least bit different, you're cast down. You have to have the 'look", you have to be cool, and you can't be white, it seems.
Right now, I have all of those against me since I don't dress fashonably, I'm fat, and because I'm white. America's a bit the same way, but it's so much easier to be an "outcast" in a familiar country. Plus, I believe the likelihood of finding other "outcasts" to hang with is higher here. I'm a bit worried to go there, from that. Should I worry so much? sweatdrop
