And yea verily the words of the banishment are: "kwitcherbitzhen". Well, it works on *mine*. Maybe it's easier to ignore that part as you age. Which would certainly explain why the sour ol' granny (me) has no problem. [I gripe. I turned 30 a couple days ago.]
Seriously, though, angst goes down *remarkably* the further you get away from teen years. I think it's an evolutionary trait - younger people can experiment with the accepted order because they're more likely to survive if they're wrong, and are also more suited to breed copiously if they turn out to be right, and are the lone survivors of some cataclysm nobody else saw coming. Older people, on the other hand, survive best if they simply take strange occurrences in stride, and aren't swayed from what they *know* is right by some newfangled idea or other. That's why real honest-to-god grannies do all sorts of crazy s**t and never turn a hair about whether or not they're doing something sensible or even realistic.

But I do hope age doesn't close my mind to experiences I might accept now.
And in any case, I'm not like anyone I know, so it's hard to judge...

Come to think of it, a really decent initiation ritual would get your head nice'n ******** up. Apparently the Autonomatrix do some pretty decent initiations (that you design yourself, suited to your needs) under the supervision of a mentor, which might go a way to helping you. I actually wanna try my hand at doing said initiation, but I'm quite honestly terrified. I'll stick to making sure my train's on time for the moment, cheers. But yeah, it might be an idea for you to try oot.

Do not banish dought. It can be a wounderful thing. Keeping you from making mistakes. And getting wraped up in things. Who knows, without it you just might belive you can do anything.

Unfortunately, illogical doubt disguised as logic in this case, prevents me from believing in things I can already do.
