Ok, I'm redoing mine because my information has changed:
Name: Call me Ama.
Japanese Experience: I am currently a third-year Japanese Linguistics major; I have been studying Japanese for almost four years, and I have studied abroad in Japan. I am no where near fluent, but I can understand about 80-90% of spoken and 70% of written Japanese. However, my kanji skills aren't so hot- I can recognize aboooout maybe 1,000? Ish? I can generally help out with stroke order even if I don't know the kanji, but you won't be able to use me as a kanji dictionary! razz
Levels I will teach: I would prefer beginner through upper intermediate. I could help out with advanced students if need be, especially for those who are self study, since I am taking Japanese linguistics classes at my university so if you have questions I can't answer I will be happy to ask my professors 3nodding Also, since I study linguistics, I know some tips and tricks about pronunciation that might be helpful for a self-studier who needs help with Japanese sounds.
Methods of communication: DO NOT contact me on Gaia, I will most likely NOT reply for a veeery long time. My activity here is sporadic at best. Instead, contact me at amaureahin @ gmail . com (remove spaces), or via MSN messenger with amaureahin @ hotmail . com. I also am willing to use other forms of communication, such as facebook, phone or text message, but I will only give that contact information on a case-by-case basis.
Please note: I am a triple- major university student (Japanese is only one of my majors), so my free time is limited! I love helping people learn languages, so I am willing to help those who request it, but if I do not reply right away just know that I am probably busy. I will get to you, though, so you just might have to be willing to be a little patient. During the summer I have more free time, so right now would be an excellent time to get started heart

Ok. I'm willing to teach. But for a quick notice, I haven't really taught Japanese before (except for telling them a surtain word/words and a little short sentence, and that's basically it. So. Sorry if my explanations and such aren't that good. >.<)
~ I'm RyuseiStreamGirl, or even though it's not my real name, you can call me Mia or Crystal (which are my OC's names)
~ I'm a FULL Japanese person, but I do like to teach someone who has some basic idea or knowledge in Japanese. Could try going up to Advanced.
~ Gaia PM is fine. Or e-mail, or chat (meebo's the only thing I have. Should be able to chat with any IM types...)
~ Times... Well, I live in New England, so going by that time zone, I'm usually on between 8~10/11 PM. Sometimes earlier, since it's Vacation.

1. Your name: Kourui
2. What level you feel comfortable teaching at (introductory, beginner, intermediate, advanced): Beginner. I can teach using hiragana or romaji, whichever is prefered, but I'm not comfortable with kanji yet. (hiragana are Japanese letters, romaji are Japanese words are written with the English alphabet -such as 'ao' or 'konnichiwa', Kanji are Japanese figures which stand for whole words.)
3. Your preferred means of communication (gaia messages/email/messenger of choice): Gaia messages, email, or Windows Live Messenger. Just whatever works, though I say messenger is the most convenient.
4. Maybe even the hours you are usually online: I usually finish with homeschool around noon (anywhere from ten AM to noon...) and am on anytime between then and midnight (sometimes later).

Name: Just call me "wolf" or "miss wolf" (or 狼先生 ninja ) Levels I'll teach: Intro, beginner, intermediate, and possibly advanced, depending on where you are Preferred means of communication: Gaia, I could do Skype, or mixi, if you have one Time I'm on: At least once a day. I have school through the week, and I get home at about 3:30PM EST (12:30PM PST). So I'm roughly available from 3:30PM - 9:00PM EST (12:30PM - 6:00PM PST). Extra info: I've been studying Japanese for a good 4 years with one of the best Japanese teachers I've ever had. I can teach hiragana, katakana, and kanji, though it is best if you already know it, or learn it on your own. I'm still learning Japanese in school, and I'm actually in my 5th year, although I've been studying for 4. I got moved up a year, basically. I tutor Japanese whenever I get the chance. I love the idea of teaching a language. PM me if you want me to teach you!

Name: Brian Levels I'll teach: Intro, beginner, and intermediate Preferred means of communication: Gaia, email, MSN Time I'm on: It totally varies, I can't give a straight answer.
Extra info: I currently live in Tokyo and attend a Japanese language school in Shibuya. I've been studying Japanese for about 4 and a half years and know about a thousand kanji. I'm roughly JLPT2 level and I have a good handle on grammar and such. I can explain Japanese in a clear and easy-to-understand way, and provide guidance on what to learn next. I'm not going to hold your hand 100% of the time, but I'm definitely able to help you learn and/or improve your Japanese.
