When I was in highschool, the longest relationship I had was 8 months. I graduated in the middle of that relationship, so I don't know if that still qualifies, but whatever.
I find it weird for all of you to be complaining that you're sick of relationships about meaningless sex. What i mean is, is that I didn't loose my virginity until i was with that 8 month boyfriend, because I thought I loved him. Maybe it's because I went to an all girl school, but I don't know, I think that long-term-ish relationships are very possible, you just... get lucky I guess. I haven't thought about the whole high-school dating scene in 2 years so, it seems very distant to me. Once I got to college it was such a relief because both men and women were more straightforward and open-minded.

I do believe in the saying that high school relationship never last. This is the time when our hormones are raging and when I keep on saying ******** you hormones. If does depend on the relationship i had a friend whose dad and mom met when they were freshman. As years goes by high school relationship seems to get shorter like this guy rob in my school. His longest relationship was one day. Which is quite sad.
I think by middle school and high school are just testing what love is. high school relationship are icky.

I never got to be part of a typical high school romance. This kinda makes me sad as it seems like its a right of passage for every teen. Me and my boyfriend have been going out for nearly four years now. He's my first and only boyfriend so all I've ever know is long term relationships.
