In my world (even after seeing the finale) Zutara, Tophaang, and Sukka prevail. Unfortunately, that leaves Mai the odd one out. If we switch over to canon, we get: Kataang, Maiko, and (still) Sukka, leaving Toph the odd one out. WHY ARE THERE SEVEN CHARACTERS?!?! (aside from Azula, who's probably in love with the wall she's staring at in prison, and Ty Lee. Toph doesn't strike me as a yuri gal.) Toph's too cool to be left out. I guess I just enjoy my world because I don't like Mai. redface
And to respond to Halycyon/Shaolina's quote tree, I recall reading a book where the girl was 16 and the guy was 30. I was totally against it, of course, but it was canon.

Yeah I wrote a ZukoxToph fanfic once just to give her some love. But seriously the only one I can see her with(heh see) is Aang, cause of their age. It's so not fair that by the end everyone got a love buddy except her.

Taang. its perfect in my opinion. they are really cute together. and they make the perfect team.
Sokka and toph . Idk. I always saw Toph as the younger sister Sokka never had.. Katara is more like a mother to Sokka. So no Tokka.
Toko. nope. that wont work. imagine an occasion they both loose temper. burning_eyes

If Toph was going to end up with somebody, I'd say Sokka. It's kinda that cute crush. The reason why I can't see Toph with Aang is because it's too logical, around the same age, plus Aang is just so wrapped up in Katara anyway. xD
