It's the luck of the Irish!
Okay, not everyone celebrates St. Patrick's Day, but this is a graphic design guild, we do what we have to!
Let's make a challenge for St. Patrick's Day.
*I know I'm not in the crew, but please don't mind me*
March 2007 Challenge: St. Patrick's Day
Let's all pretend that we work for a t-shirt design company. The business owner wants every employee to be as innovative as possible and create their own t-shirt design with a St. Patrick's Day theme. However, the old four-leaf clover or the saying "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" are boring ways to do it. Instead of sticking with the old fashion St. Patrick's Day look, spice it up a bit. Make your own t-shirt design that is DIFFERENT from traditional looks.
When finished, post here. It'll be fun! We'll have the deadline March 31!

Rules:
Image Source: stock photo's, your own photos, effects, brushes, etc...
Number Of Submissions: Up to 5 submissions
File Format: .jpg, .png, or .gif are best, .bmp is ok if you must.
Size: 800pixels at the largest
Deadline: March 31
Voting starts April 1. It wil end on the 15th of April.

This is a great idea!!! Thank you for posting a challenge. smile I've always wanted to make t-shirts for places like Threadless, but I'm just not that cool. Hehe. I'll have to see if I can come up with anything.

Its fun to have challenges. It gives us something to do. So hope you don't mind if I stick them up there every once in a while.

well umm this is my first entry on a contest ever hope its good enough,tried to keep it clean dont really like crowded images so here it si hope to see some feedback too! entry

That is really good! The form of the body is very accurate. What did you use? As for critiquing, I think you could have blended the skirt and the clovers better. You could see where the skirt ends. And since the clovers make it look like the skirt is supposed to be wavy, then I think you should make the skirt more wavy. Although i don'treally know what I maen when I say wavy, but make it seem like it has movement with the clovers. And perhaps if you play with the clovers and make some larger than the others, smaller, rotate it around, make it look different. Overall, its very creative for a t-shirt design. This is a way to say "Kiss me, I'm Irish" without the words written on it. I love it!

thx and well the girls image cant say its mine is an edit from another at deviant art my recent vectorized people aren body full so i couldnt use them and got this one instead,srry to dissapoint you but im not that great an artist yet at drawing people

It's the last day of the challenge... and I decided to take a crack at it. smile T-shirt shapes, swirly graphics and shamrock shapes were downloaded from www.shutterstock.com. They're simple and silly... but I felt like putting something together. So here you go.

Mines like 39 minutes late! Sorry! I was busy doing my hw, it was due at midnight, so i had to put this off. Anyways, its not as great as all of yours, but it'll do. I'll post up the polls in a bit.
