both, well Loveless anime only follows the plot really, a lot of changes are in there, but mostly cause of swapping stuff over and bigger stuff in there to.
like in the manga Ritsuka plays the game for a while and has a conversation with Nana(7), however in the anime he dosent get involved in the game, just see's his character go in, and asks Nana a few questions OO;;; lol.
also in the manga Seimei died at age 17 which was 2 years ago, however in the manga he ''died'' only a few weeks/months ago, and in the anime Zero's killed the dog however in the manga Sleepless killed it, (and also Zero killed Sleepless in the manga to.)
i suspect if they ever ws to make a series 2 it would be totally different, cause well in the manga (spoiler) Seimei is alive,(end spoiler) whilst in the anime he isent.
