This was not helping his blood pressure...not at all. Alan wished that the people that had decided to gather where he was warming himself were a little quieter...but it was not to be. He sat there, stewing in his own anger and blood pressure. One...more...sound...
At the sound of the honking, Alan snapped.
"EXCUSE ME!" he hissed again, lifting his head and snapping his mouth angrily. "PLEASE TAKE THE PITY PARTY AWAY! SOME OF US ARE TRYING TO GET SOME PEACE AND QUIET!!!!!"
He glared angrily with his reptilian eyes.

His attention now thouroughly((I know it's spelled wrong)) taken by Nikkos, Ryan hung on is every word. He guessed spot on about being a zookeeper. So either it was a prank that was being pulled on him, or they'd done the same thing to other people. He was more and more convinced it wasn't a prank, just by the way the other normal guy was acting.
He followed Nikkos upon hearing about wild animals. He knew first hand what a tiger could do. "So, I'm going to be an animal? That is so cool!"
Ryan's brain hadn't processed all of the information yet, and the full ramifications weren't appearent to him. He reached forward and grabed Nikkos' hand, examining the webbing, acting like some little kid with a new puppy.
The yelling from the lizard startled him. Not because it was loud and sudden, but because of the fact the a lizard was talking.

As soon as the lizard opened its humongous mouth and started shouting something, Dallas fell back with a totally stunned and disbelieving look on his face. The thing had talked! He scrambled backwards using his legs and arms to push him, still staring at the lizard. So the bird-man was telling the truth; they were turning into animals! cursing under his breath he quickly stood up, brushing off his pants. "I'm really, really sorry about that!" He stated quickly, addressing the lizard. "I sorta thought you were fake for a second and...uh...yeah, so I'm real sorry 'bout that!"
Looking back in the genera direction of the other human and the birdman, he realized that they were starting to wander off. Turning his back to the lizard, he started to jog towards them.
"Hey, wait for me!"

Like the lizard man below him, Nick too was hoping for some peace and quite, though his way of wanting it was clearly more subtle. Though he didn’t exactly want o be part of what the lizard man as accuracy described as a “Pity party”. But something one of the newbie’s said irked him. It was certainly not cool to be turning into a animal, into some stupid monkey in his case.
He jumped down from the branch, wobbling slightly as he landed as he was still a little unused to his new posture and feet. Ignoring the Lizard man he hurried off after the group to give the guy a piece of his mind, and to avoid pissing the lizard any more.
“What do you mean cool? You honestly think this is cool!?” He pointed at his oddly shaped nose with his equally odd fuzzy hand.

Nikkos winces slightly at the agression in both of the other changed Islanders, feeling awkward as Ryan plays with his hand's mutations, "Oh God, please deliver me..."
He carefully takes his hand from Ryan to avoid getting it pressed down on to keep in place, "Trust me, as much as you like animals, turning into one is not as "cool" as you might think. Its not magical and instant.. Its painful, embarrassing, often times stages keep you bound wheel chair and forced onto you... And its not just animals. You could be turning into a sunflower."
Waving a flipper around, he honks, his voice raising as he continues to ramble, "And there is nothing fun about becoming an earthworm or some instinct driven creature, you could loose your mind, your humanity..." He laughs, "Your manhood even, since they have the habit of turning guys into girls if there aren't enough females around or for the heck of it..."
Taking a deep breath, he brings himself back down from his rant, "I've seen many of the more changed villagers, since they require entirely customized outfits rather then modifications for tails. Trust me, it is not "cool"."
He then turns, head down slightly as he continues walking to the village, "Just wait till you hear some of Billy's "warstories" about this place."

Alan glared his reptilian eyes at the young man who addressed him. "You...thought I was fake? You're not exactly a quick one, are you?" His hissing voice dripped with sarcasm. Grunting as best as he could, Alan layed down his head and fell into sleep, glad to be left alone at last.
But...
Although his hearing wasn't the best anymore, he was still interested in in hearing what the new islanders would be told. Alan was a firm believer that the new islanders needed to hear the "right things" before they got corrupted....and certainly none of that anti-island propaganda.

"Yeah, I think that's pretty cool. Are you going to get a tail?"
Then Nikkos elaborated on the island some. "A sunflower? They can do that? And an earthworm? Did they actually do that to someone?" He tried to think of what that would look like, but his mind came up blank.
Then a thought occured to Ryan. "Umm, any idea what I'm going to be?"

Dallas shrugged in embarrassment at the lizards comment. He certainly had looked fake from a distance...
He turned his attention to the penguin and the other human, watching blankly. How could that guy be so excited? They were on an island turning into animals! He had gone through a stage were he wished he was a werewolf, but that was light years away from the circumstance he found himself in now! Stuck with some crazy 'doctors' and even crazier island inhabitants!
"Well," he finally said, addressing the human, "if you could be anything, what would you want to be?"

Nick was certainly taken a back at Ryan’s reaction to his nose. He mentally insulted him a few times are he kept quiet for the next few moments. How one earth could that be cool? Turning into a monkey of all things. Sure, as a kid he’d have loved to have a tail, didn’t all little boys? But turning completely into a animal was not something he ever had in mind.
“I don’t want to be anything, I certainly don’t want to be a monkey.”
