Ha. I rode this pony as a summer job.
His name was Teddy. A Welsh Cod. About 12hands. A little older.
But soooo pretty! H was chocolate with a silver tail and goldish mane. :)
Cute thing.
But he was a brat!
He reared. A lot. Like, everytime his buddy Party was out of sight, or we rode past the gate.
Now, a pony that small isn't scary when he rears, but it gets annoying when he only rears. And he'll continue to jump up for nearly 15 minutes 'cause he doesn't wanna listen to you.
And he tried to roll in the water with me too. My shoes turned green from the nasty water I jumpped into.
Also! Whenever you cantered him. He's lean really far to the inside. Forcing you to balance out by leaning a tad to the left. Then he'd switch leads when you leaned. And when he did that, he's lean really far off to the outside. Kinda makin' you fall off! xD
I only rode him on the trail, so, it's not like there was a rail to keep him from doin' it. And he wasn't off balance, 'cause you could make him do it right. He was just being a butt head.
Teddy also liked to bite.
He was really cool though. :)
I took him a parade, and wore this hole wild west get up!
A flowing gown that fell over his butt, a hat with stuff that blew in the wind, and I put lots of ribbon in his mane and tail the flew in the wind too!
He was so awesome though.
I could blindfold him with a rag, and hop on, and he'd let me ride him all over the place.
:D
He also learned to pull a cart in only nine days!
Teddy was fabulous.
But I'm never volunteering to ride one again!
XD
Hah. Ponies.
Little brats, aren't they?
