"No." Xaldin answered shortly; he really wasn't very good with patience, it would seem. "Now... I have crippled Vincent, but I have no way to proceed. The residents have thwarted me before... did you have anything in mind, or will I be doing all the work?"

"I will be pulling my own wait. I am not sure hwo long you will have Vincent crippled, but from what I can see our best window is on the 19th, during the eclipse," Tynan said carefully, observing Xaldin.

"The nineteenth..." Xaldin considered a moment, mulling the idea over. "Yes. That would work nicely... some of my powers will be much more potent during the eclipse. I should be able to confuse his spirit enough to keep him from finding his way back to his body..." He nodded firmly. "Yes. The date is good. Are you known to them?"

"To an extent," Tynan said. "I was rather far along in having both Ukaia and Arlen, but that was cut short due to some unfortunate coincidents. Not many at the Inn would know me on sight however."

"I control and manipulate shadows for the most part. I can pull off a number of useful techniques with it," Tynan said calmly.

He nodded again, then focused on the wall, again fingering the hilt of his sword. "Very good." he murmured at last, eyes slightly unfocused as he thought. "There are several possibilities. I must pay a visit there... see which will be most likely to bear fruit."

"Yes yes." Xaldin waved a hand absently, already half lost in plots and plans, eyes gleaming with ill-intent. As he waved, however, a small thread of his power attached itself to Tynan. "So I can find you with ease, of course." he told the man mildly.

"Of course," Tynan said, standing and walking to the entrance fo the cave. "Until we meet again," he said with a nod before wrapping the shadows around him and transporting him instantly to his apartment.

Xaldin didn't notice the change at all; he was too wrapped up in scrounging through books, lost in the world of the arcane that so often swallowed Lily as well. He'd decided to visit the group on the morrow, and was preparing, just in case.
Several hours later, he lifted his head up, and decided to toy with the bunny. A few threads of his magic were still hanging in the Muffin; he couldn't take her, couldn't really harm her, but he could keep her on her toes and hopefully stressed. Grabbing a few of the remains, he sent them for her, recreating for a few moments the horrible sensation from the night before.
