Argh, I think I will just stick to glasses. I find it practically imposible to get them in. The first t ime I tried to do it by myself at home, it took me forty minutes to get them both in, after many many attempts. I've been wearing glasses since I was ten, in year 2000. I still have all my previous pairs of glasses, because I love them all and can't bring myself to throw them away. heart My first one had a gold frame, the second black, third was grey and my new ones will be rimless, but the rest is bronze. whee And really, like bandi138138 said, I am just to lazy for contacts. I would have to wake at 6, and I usually go to bed at midnight. I am getting too little sleep as it is without having to worry about my contacts as well. But I won't give up just yet, mainly because my new glasses aren't ready yet. While I'm waiting for them I HAVE to use my contacts, or else I can't see the whiteboard at school. Stupid teacher, make me sit at the back...

Since I've been wearing contacts about 3-4 years, it takes me 1-2 minutes to put my contacts all together. Fast, I know. xDD Haha, it was so funny. The first time I got my contacts, I couldn't take them out, so my doctor gave me a "Plunger" and you just take the contact out with the plunger. It was so funny! xd If you do get contacts, you might get annoyed by them, but it becomes a daily routine for you when you wear contacts. I just wake up and put on my contacts without thinking about it. Glasses are easier because you just put them on, but I like to wear contacts because you don't feel anything on your nose. What's good about me, is I have a pair of glasses and contacts, so when I go out I wear contacts and when I am at home, I wear glasses. You probably would get glasses, because it's easiest. When you go swimming, you can't wear contacts or glasses underwater because if you open your eyes for contacts, they'll come right out (Unless you wear goggles).
Oh gosh. Long post.

Oh gosh. Long post. Wow, it's extremely comforting to know that you had problems with your contacts at first too. I have no trouble geting them out, none at all; just putting them in. I can't keep my eyes open. XP But I won't give up!

hi~!
well i think you've already decided but i'll say it anyway. i've had lenses since i could see, soft and hard, and big thick beasts of glasses (like stronger then most magnifiers!!) and well , sof lenses are harder to put in generally, i can' t say fully cause my mum used to have to put them in when i was little.....
so if you're gonna get lenses, get hard lenses because they let more oxygen to the eye, so if you're playing sport (or anything) they'll be better for you....
i find it really hard to get them out though ~_~ all the time, i think they must be the wrong size... but if you want them in a really good thing is to be positive, like before i couldn't get them in ,i was really sad -not quite depressed but getting there- my friend from korea rang me up , i havn't seen her in 3 years! it put me in a really good mood and they went in really easy afterwards....
well hope this helps.....

Thanks for all your comments, everyone!
Well I now have six pairs of contacts lenses, enough to last me about 3 months. I still don't like wearing them, but I don't want to risk smashing my glasses during sport. xd
I've gotten much better at putting them in and taking them out, but it's not yet at the stage where I can do that at school, so I'm still wearing my spare pair of glasses to PE at school, and using my contacts only for taekwondo. That's where I really need them, what with all the flips and rolls, and sabomnim's designer obstacle courses... xp My training partner once delivered a spin hook kick straight to my jaw. Ouch. And it was meant to be non-contact sparring. stare
