"You got anything else to ask me?" he asked her gruffly. It wasn't that he didn't dislike her, but the silence between the two of them was making his nervous and snippy. "If not then I am going to go."

Lupita stood there practically with her mouth hanging open. He had been so nice to her just a few moments ago and now he was being a jerk. Once again she felt like she had been played and let herself open to be vulnerable. "Fine then! Just walk away! I should have never trusted you anyway! This how it always ends up and yet it looks like I didn't learn a single lesson from the last time!" she practically spat, feeling very hurt and not really knowing why it was affecting her so much. Then she felt the heart raise in her face as tears threatened to make themselves known. Quickly she turned and began to storm off into the opposite direction, giving him her back and not once thinking how vulnerable that left her since she was half blind after all.

Mika pinned his ears back against his skull. He wanted to run after her, but a tiny voice in the back of his mind told him to let her go. Sighing, he caved into the tiny voice and started to walk in the direction he was heading in a few moments ago.
