1. Songs are all the same
2. Herman speeds up the songs
3. Can't replay any of their songs live
4. Instead of being influenced by musicians they're influenced by video game sounds.
5. Lyrics aren't similar. They're EXACTLY THE SAME.
6. Nobody is more overestimated
I love Revolution Deathsquad I have to admit but otherwise I think Dragonforce is lame.

Overrated. They are decent musicians, but most of what is on those records is studio magic. The guitar playing isn't half as good live, they are very sloppy. So many more talented guys out there don't get the attention they deserve.

I think Dragonforce is ok. No one knew about them until guitar hero, but they were sort of known before. Personaly, my only favorite is Through the Fire and the Flames. Has some cool riffs.

Sweet Jesus, I knew this day would come... I'll lay it out simply about DragonForce:
-They speed their songs up in the studio by about 5 blips/second
-Herman knows some tricks... but thats about it
-All songs sound generally the same
-If they could ACTUALLY play what they put on records, they'd be a respectable band
-Guitar Hero blew them up into unneeded fame
-I'll admit that I like a couple songs, even though I know they aren't real
That's DragonForce in a nutshell.

And? What's the problem with that? There have been plenty of musicians in the past that were influenced by other things aside from other musicians. I get influenced by video games all the time. Even the sounds I make when I brush my teeth give me an idea.
On-topic... I don't really like them. All their songs sound the same and are sped up to unneeded speeds. Herman is a good guitarist, but not great. And their drummer is an idiot. ******** quad-pedal user.

They get a lot more crap than they deserve. I don't think they're the greatest band ever, but I've seen them live twice. (One of those times was a free show) The first time two of the members were drunk and it wasn't anything special. The second time (ironically, the free show) was absolutely amazing. They're a pretty good technical band, and I actually think their vocalist is great. And honestly, I've never seen a good cover of a Dragonforce song.
That said, their lyrics suck, and they do get kind of repetitive after awhile. They're a good introductory power metal band, though.

I'm not saying they're amazing, but what you're saying is simply untrue. The unfortunate thing about them is that a couple of their members are frequently drunk live, and you can't play that kind of music when you're drunk. I've seen them all sober and they actually play very fast and surprisingly clean.

Vantross i've only heard i think five or six songs by them, but i love each of them. does anyone else think this band is awesome? any significant info about them? you've heard all their songs

I used to like them...but their lntruments are like bleedingly fast all the time, the vocals are well-sung, but they never make any sense, and the song structure is the same most of the time.

Their music sucks massive amounts of balls, for the reasons mentioned by other posters in this thread who share my opinion.
